leon Posted October 19, 2005 Author Posted October 19, 2005 yeh seen that one and looks good, has anyone ever orderd off him? just wonderd delivery time ect as its from the states
lobotomy Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 He's based in malaysia. And that's the only complaint I've heard from people -- he does take a bit of time to fabricate/send stuff out (but think it's only because he's so busy)There's also a guy Petbeemer on GTTurbo.com who's based in the UK making relatively cheap parts for GT's. He's not been around too long so not too much feedback for him.
Ep91 Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Dont supose he can make them for the N/A Ep91?Or does anyone know of anyone that does?
Nanglebadger Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Mine was done by Powerflow, lifetime guarntee, did a fab job.Phil.
SiCaln Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 not that pleased with my powerflow one and you wanna see where they welded it!
Ep91 Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 By the way you said that.... im guessing we dont wanna see where they welded it Anywhere other than powerflow? Ive only ever heard bad things about them!
SiCaln Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 With the exception of Nanglebadger lolThey welded it to one of the fixings for the handbrake cables!
Nanglebadger Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 HHMMMM...thats not cool. The same guy did mine and my dads barchetta, he gets a good rep, i suppose it just depends who the guy is that does it.Phil.
Guest Enzo Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 graeme aka streetracer had nothing but trouble with his wepre system..ask him and he would be more then happy to tell you about it.apart from that he did say the quality of the workmanship is hi
SiCaln Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 Here is a picture of the WEPR system, they have also incorporated a flexi-section which was part of the problem before, it was too rigid so occasionally fractured on our roads:
BlackTarw Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 There's also a guy Petbeemer on GTTurbo.com who's based in the UK making relatively cheap parts for GT's. He's not been around too long so not too much feedback for him.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yeah his stuff looks good, there's a few pics on the forum somewhere/ Make sure you get a flexi-joint as stainless steel is more brittle than mild steel. If you're going to get the exhaust manifold (think it's called a header in the States?) off, then invest in exhaust wrap, that'll keep the temperature down in the engine bay.
leon Posted October 23, 2005 Author Posted October 23, 2005 just orderd a wicked ep system! should be here soon! yeh manifold will be next investment when i get paid!
Robbo Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 he doesn't live in the states or malaysia, he lives in sri-lanka, get it right lads! they are supposed to be good especially with the flexi section, i got mine custom made and the only bad thing about it is the lack of flexi to be honest.
Bilal Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 HHMMMM...thats not cool. The same guy did mine and my dads barchetta, he gets a good rep, i suppose it just depends who the guy is that does it.Phil.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>powerflow ballymena in n.i have a good reputation alright custom all the way is best petbeemer of gt forum is also good i hear
Guest Enzo Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 he doesn't live in the states or malaysia, he lives in sri-lanka, get it right lads!what are you on about. he was just making a point stating that manifold is called header in the states..he never mentioned anything about wicked ep being fromt there dude..if i were to pay for pand p would you be interested in my wheels? rob
BlackTarw Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 I think we got our wires crossed there, Leon mentioned shipping from the States, I read it as shipping to the States...no worries Let us know how you get on with exhaust!Q. am I right in thinking a FCD might be needed?
SiCaln Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Yes you are right, people have hit fuel cut with just the exhaust alone!
leon Posted October 28, 2005 Author Posted October 28, 2005 yeh i got myself cofused as he said us dollars! any way shuddnt be long and i al ready have a fcd
BlackTarw Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 No worries then!by the way it's 5.30 on a Friday, woo!
