I've never really looked through these build pages before

But your car man i cant believe what it came from.... :)

How much have you put into it so far money wise?

Thanks guys

Stevie I used Tiger Seal

Including the car and everything I think its coming near to £1600 now? Not sure though, but I'll add all the costs up once the car is road worthy to make sure all funds are counted :)

Thanks guys, nope not too much left now :)

I've been bored this evening so I thought I'd try a pinstripe on the bonnet lines seen as though I had some spare, and just to see how it looks.

The result:

Honest opinions please guys, I'm not too sure about it myself. Should I go out and rip it off? :(

As you can see the LED bulbs look shit, I'm expecting something better to replace them with and I'll update once they've arrived :)

And if you look carefully the finish on the yellow bits shown in the pictute is shit so they need doing again soon.

You didnt waste any time there idrees, the only thing i would say is to keep the speedo one as standard for the kph, mph, alot easier to read and for mot reasons to.

Good work man looks awsome but... will they not read differently?? say like your doing the clock which is 120 on the n/a it will read 180mph!!! :)

Oh and whats planned for the lights? :o

Stevie cheers for the info I'll put it back to stock at MOT time then

Si I don't have a problem with the holes, I kinda like em actually because they let some light through.

Sparky I think its reading in standard kph? Maybe not but I know around 45/50 is actually 30mph.

Ordered some proper blue bulb covers for the lights so they should all light up nicely in blue ;)

Small suspension update

Always had this problem with my front suspension:

The rubbers been out of place which should actually sit nicely at the top of the spring, and one of the top studs has also been broken for some time (it had two nuts holding the suspension on at the top)

Anyway, my brother had a spare set of suspension which lying around (which was buggered) so I thought I'd use the top mounts of the fronts.

Started off by stripping his suspension:

Followed by removing the shocks/springs off mine.

Top mounts compared:

This is the brand of my shocks if anybodys ever heard of them before?

Got all the suspenion back together and fitted it back to the car. BEDTIME!
