akyakapotter Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) started fitting my braided brake lines ran into a problem with the rear one that goes from the caliper. the fitting is to small so it can pass through the bracket meaning the clips that hold it in place is useless. going to use a washer to stop this one brake line fitting is being a bugger went and got a brake pipe spanner and some wd-40 will crack on when its not raining also just won a oil sanwich plate on the bay for £6.75 bargin Edited March 4, 2014 by akyakapotter Quote
akyakapotter Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 managed to sort the rear lines today pic below of what i ment by the fittings. Its still being a bastard of a car went to take front discs off but not having any of it there not held on by the hub nuts are they ? as they dont want to budge at all stupid glanza Quote
akyakapotter Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Today has been a good day sort of (GF ended things owell) managed to get the old discs off glad really the stock one were almost past it. new ones on bleeding of the brakes done first time I've done it was easy so my full td fast road brake kit is fitted. My bargin sanwhich plate turned up well worth the £3.75 all because of a few marks and my gear box oil turned up all in all a good day Quote
