morgey
Bushes can creak, so either of the wishbone ones or maybe even the arb d bush.

morgey
Joints dont need play to creak, does it stop if you drive through puddles? I had a micra that creaked unless i went through water lol
Matt1878
Joints dont need play to creak, does it stop if you drive through puddles? I had a micra that creaked unless i went through water lolLmao really? Have no idea mate. It only started doing it a couple of days ago. Up and over speed bumps it creaks up and down and also when turning right. Doesn't have to be full lock or anything
morgey
Stick a hose under it, soak the lower wishbones and D bushes and go for a drive. It might stop it.

Matt1878
All lower parts seem alright to be homest... All rubbers are good etc.Got a feeling it's gonna be the tops
Matt1878
Right, picked up my new bumper today and had a quick look at test fitting..Also have a HDI Intercooler that will be going on shortly..Couple of questions I have though?1. Do you NEED to remove all the plastic trays from under the car for intercooler?2. The intercooler has two mounting points on the bottom, is it alright to just use these two to mount?3. Do I need to move my relocation filter kit for the hot side pipe work? Crash bar removed as this was in the way of the coolerHDI IntercoolerTest fit
The Toffinator
You dont need to removed the crash bar to fit it mate! I fitted mine tight under the crash bar, and as far back as it would go and i didnt need to modify pipework, It also fitted behind my 98Spec bumper without cutting! Only thing i would reccomend is trimming the 2 towing points on each side, Gives clearence for the pipeworkAnd unless you cut the undertrays to death they wont fit mate
Matt1878
Right so 100% gone with the trays. What about the arch lining trays?? Do they need to go? I had a look at fitting it under the bar but looked like I'd have no chance.. Ill have another look when I get the car on the ramp. The HDI will fit behind the Varis with no trimming or anything and will look shexual. What about the intercooler mounts? Are the two at the bottom enough to hold it in place? As there are no other mounts. Edited April 2, 2013 by Matt1878
Liam_D
Mine has the two at the bottom and then I made two custom mounts to be on the safe side as they are pretty heavy
