stephen_h Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Ever since buying the SR the plan was to do a full glanza re,p however the insurance companies just want to have my pants down when it came to adding the turbo. however after two years with the n/a and the lack of power i kind of lost interest in it.therefore it worked out cheaper for me to buy and insure a Toyota Celica GT4 WRC jap import, after a few days looking on the net i went to view this and snapped it up straight away.the pics dont really do the car any justice. looks a hell of a lot better in person, previous owner is a sprayer and owned it for 6 years. he treated it to a full respray in the standard colour silver with a pearl cover. the car hasnt been messed with too much either, been lowered, full blitz nur spec exhaust, hks air filter etcsteve Quote
daz gt turbz Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 looks like a clean example mate, not a fan of the wheels tho. Quote

iamlegend Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 are these 2 litre turbos??if so, how can they insure you on this but not a 1.3 starlet ?looks nice like Quote
lukerobz Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 looks nice mate i would adore one off these Quote
stephen_h Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Cheers for the replies, dont think it will be long before i start changing things on it, im already looking at different interiors. The insurance is stupid i was getting quotes of 3K for a turbo glanza rep whereas with this its 2l turbo with four wheel drive and i got it insured for 1600. i no some people will think thats alot but considering im only 20 with 1 years ncb and most people i know pay more than that on things like saxo's and civic's i thought it was quite good Quote
Josh@TunerLifestyle Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 saw this at japfest also paintwork is exceptional! really sparkly and clean! love it mate Quote

ste91 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 are these 2 litre turbos??if so, how can they insure you on this but not a 1.3 starlet ?looks nice likeIt's cheaper for my mate to insure his MR2 turbo than his Glanza, bit of a piss take, 2.0 turbo mid engine RWD vs 1.3 turbo FWD hatchback.Nice car, big fan of GT4's. paulgtt Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 nice mate, that makes 2 of these on here now by my reckoning If you are looking at swapping the wheels then stick them up on the GT4OC, they go mad on there for rally wheels Quote
Bluebear Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Hnnnng oh those wheels. Love them.Looks a nice example man, enjoy her!Personally, I love the look of the ST185 better, but I'm just old fashioned Quote
