Replacement for the starlet

Recommended Posts

Ever since buying the SR the plan was to do a full glanza re,p however the insurance companies just want to have my pants down when it came to adding the turbo. however after two years with the n/a and the lack of power i kind of lost interest in it.

therefore it worked out cheaper for me to buy and insure a Toyota Celica GT4 WRC jap import, after a few days looking on the net i went to view this and snapped it up straight away.

the pics dont really do the car any justice. looks a hell of a lot better in person, previous owner is a sprayer and owned it for 6 years. he treated it to a full respray in the standard colour silver with a pearl cover. the car hasnt been messed with too much either, been lowered, full blitz nur spec exhaust, hks air filter etc

Cheers for the replies, dont think it will be long before i start changing things on it, im already looking at different interiors.

The insurance is stupid i was getting quotes of 3K for a turbo glanza rep whereas with this its 2l turbo with four wheel drive and i got it insured for 1600. i no some people will think thats alot but considering im only 20 with 1 years ncb and most people i know pay more than that on things like saxo's and civic's i thought it was quite good

are these 2 litre turbos??

if so, how can they insure you on this but not a 1.3 starlet ?

looks nice like

It's cheaper for my mate to insure his MR2 turbo than his Glanza, bit of a piss take, 2.0 turbo mid engine RWD vs 1.3 turbo FWD hatchback.

Nice car, big fan of GT4's.
