daz gt turbz Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 well the starlet went last saturday, big sad day :(, but onwards ond upwards!picked up this, yes . . . . . . . its a volvo! yes its comfy! yes its quiet! yes its fairly quick and yes i rather like it! lol2.5l 5 cylinder turbo so not quite as sensible as it looks so looks is the 1st thing im going to sort, im thinking 18" rota gtr's in white, staggered 8.5 front 9.5 rear and on its hoop on coilovers and depending how it lowers maybe some camber bolts on the rear. the im gona knuckle down to the engine.so watch this space! daz gt turbz Posted January 22, 2012 Author Share Posted January 22, 2012 cheers boys, yea same engine as the rs, and does sound realy nice with the 5th cylinder popping away! already been on the phone to my local local volvo garage and they can upload the polestar programe which give it an extra 47bhp, the mechanic sounded well excited on the phone that i had bought one and actuly wanted to do stuff to it spent hours working my way through ebay and google making a list of parts and prices! need to give it a realy good polish and wax because i dont think its ever been done properly because dirt just sticks to it, but the weather is shit! it got its 1st snow foaming tho!
