Ryan_EP82 GT
There's no point upgrading the turbo without fitting bigger stoppersPicked up rebuilt Celica ST162 calipers from Russ (legend) which have a larger piston and pad diameter not to mention alot thicker disc for better heat dissipation New drilled and grooved discs on the way at the minute to finish off the new conversion..and a comparison against the stock brakes (pictures dont do it justice theyre a brave bit bigger!) And then i got an offer i cant refuse to pick up a Mocal oil cooler, 9 row so perfect for the 1300s. Edited December 1, 2014 by Ryan_EP82 GT

Ryan_EP82 GT
No progress the last while but I did get the Starlet along to its first rolling road session a few weeks back at Autotune N.I. Made 176.6 bhp @ 6403 rpm, 155 hp at the wheelsAnd the torque measured 153.4 lb-ft / 208 Nm I predicted 165 bhp so safe to say im a happy man for the time being
morgey
Tbh id be pretty happy. 155hp atw, would probably be more like 185hp fly. 20hp transmission loss is probably a bit to little. And since they measure from the wheel then convert to fly, the wheel figure is the genuine reading. So good work dude

mikey4410
What boost was u running in the above dyno graph mate If you are at a bar it should be between 220 230 bhp at fly.
Ryan_EP82 GT
ts running 12psi daily and at the dyno Mike. I dont wanna push the turbo too hard as I've a td04 set up to go on shortly but I wanted a figure for the current setup. There's no chance a ct9b would make that much power at a bar man this isnt a hybrid one unfortunately. Ryan_EP82 GT
Fitted these solid shifter bearings today, total cost £3. Nice upgrade too they make the gear selection really tight and accurate now with the short shifter..
Ryan_EP82 GT
So ive finally got the g6r six speed conversion done and waited off on this little piece of jdm porn to be fitted before i could swap the box.. The car feels completely different with the new ratios in it and it pulls like a train now I was well impressed with the liveliness of it in every gear. The addition of the Toda flywheel to help it rev easier only helps with the acceleration when combined with these close ratios.
Ryan_EP82 GT
Fitting the alloy half rad in was the cherry on the cake for me just rounds the bay off nicely i think
