montanajr
Haven't updated this thread in months! Shame on me, heres some new pics:Fairly recent, but a lot has changed : On goes the WERP FMIC:Went to dyno, made 151hp and 137lb/ft with 11 psi, was a happy bunny. Then this wee beasty arrived and was fitted thanks to dan_ep82All in place, and turned a nice shit colour:Then came the front exit 'zorst:Engine bay as it was:Clutch started to slip, so in this bad boy went:Bought a HKS FCD and FSE FPR and fitted the FPR, twice. But then completely changed my mind and decided not to run 1Bar.Found some blue sweat bands and decided to use them as resevoir covers:Then decided to make a little heat shield thingy and cold air feed:Swapped my forge BOV for my brothers Blitz one:Fitted new rear discs and pads, also fitted a MBC earlier today but I need to take her out and set it up as its hitting fuel cut! Bro fitted his MBC and whacked his boost up to 1.1Bar, now I have no chance of catching him And as she sits now:Cheers for looking!
keirz
what clutch is that mate, how much and would you recomend it?cars looking good mate
montanajr
Its a CAP 4puck paddle clutch, was £130 including delivery from the US, so cheap in comparison to some available here. Rated for 265lb/ft and its a very good clutch. Not that difficult to drive, just a bit jerky and can be very on/off sometimes, but haven't stalled her yet! lol. Looked very good quality and seems to do the job very well!Cheers
Guest Enzo
sound, why did you decide not to run a bar?
montanajr
I was scared lol. I didn't like the idea of using the FCD to trick the ECU to think its running normally (therefore leaning out slightly) and then having to use a FPR to compensate for the lack of fuel - just seemed very crude to me! Lee_EP82
Looks really good mate, i have exactly the same mods (when my FPR comes) hopefully should get a good result, now your manifold is on.

SiCaln
that looks so well done man good on ya
montanajr
Cheers guys! @Jag - its very tight indeed, but hasn't really burned the bumper at all thank god. Sounds pretty quiet no idle, but when on boost sounds nuts! Changed my BOV back to the forge 'because I was sick of having to rag it hard to get it to dump (the blitz ss had a blue spring in it, which i'm sure is the harder one). montanajr
Went down the scrappy's and bought this little splitter, £10, 30mins of drilling and screwing later, I had this:I bloody love it. Makes the front end look a lot lower and aggressive. Money well spent imo Have a K&N cone filter to fit tomorrow to replace the shitty Halfords tat on there. Thanks for looking!
