Just bought a td04 kit off ebay and picking up a turbo soon... Only a toyosport kit yeh, but i just want to try it out and see if its the direction i wanna go!!

I've heard good and bad about them, some people say they last a while..gonna get it braced up as much as possible

Fitted the short route today, noticeably less laggy and made everything up with the spare bits. Also found the lambda cable had snapped which hopefully explains what i thought was shit

Got a week off so doing a few car bits. Ported the ct9 wastegate now just need to put the turbo back on and hopefully it works!!also went mad with some spray cans and tidied up the engine a bit

Got a bit bored today so made a stencil for the intercooler... I know its bad as the intercooler isnt real blitz

Centred the stencil without the bumper on

But with the bumper on its not in the middle of the gap

I got a forge one here you can have and it's made out of plastic and it's reusable ,you can have it for free just cover the postage lol

I just printed off the logo onto a3 and cut it out. then tapped the stencil to the intercooler and sprayed.

In other news little progress and the want for a drift car could see this going up for sale soon once i've fixed the blowing manifold

After a week of no car due to a blowing manifold which turned out to be a shagged thread on the engine not holding the stud. After today tapping a new thread the car is running spot on. And on the plus side no boost creep as of yet!! Long drive tonight to rekindle some love

Gave it a well needed wash yesterday with my step-dads 535.....kinda want to keep it now its fixed Also noticed one of the bulbs had blown up into the headlight! Bit strange since it hadn't been driven for a week. Not sure if its the bulb or car at fault. They were brand new osram night breakers too, got some Halfords tat now.
