TrisK Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 It's been an hour I've sent all the photos I took as we were working on it to flint to add to the ones he tookBut his internet is playing up so he can't put them on photobucket. I would put some up but don't want to steal his thunder. It's awesome Quote

Flintygt Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 OkSo here are some photos of the bay. I sort of missed taking too many photos of it going back together. But apart from a small timing issue (despite not touching the cambelt) and a water leak (inlet manifold gasket, now fixed)It's all together and running fine. Here's some finished photos of the bay and small list of what I didRemoved front panelId-workz vented wingsCustom rad/intercooler mountsCustom front bumper mountsAero catchesPowdercoated inletBattery relocation Removed battery tray All new Silicone vacuum pipingPartial wire tuckRemoved loads of stuff from the bay (sensors, charcoal canister, washer bottle etc)And looking like a dirty whore after 4 months in the workshop No teething problems apart from a boost leak. Which was just a loose jubilee clip. Everything cool now. Just need to save for paint on the wings and lights Have the materials for finishing the manifold, whenever my fabricator is next free Quote
TrisK Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Heres some photos i took through the tear down and build up After the 1st day or so of leaving it there taking a grinder to your mates car is fun: one brake flint power. the most jewish engine swap going engine back in through the top. much easier with that front pannel missing First id-workz wing on Wire tuck started and strengthing bar, with custom intercooler/rad mounts in place All back together, and just bodywork to go back on Pretty much back together, apart from power steering to go back on, was going to be left off but flint decided he didnt like the feel of it without With the front jacked up to bleed, the brakes. Sick stance. Dan106 eat your heart out Waiting for her 1st test drive Just after getting back, here you can see the aero catches, and her big smile from the drive ;) Quote

Flintygt Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 @ little green montster, they are a copy of some sort. @iamlegend, your right mate but unfortunately I hit a car about 10mph last year and nothing went back together as good as I hoped and it had been hit before I got it. Currently looking for a new shell. Quote
