Chief Quimby Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) Have those D2, but didnt install them, they are abit to fansy for me, so run with stock brakes Edited November 4, 2013 by Chief Quimby Quote
Chief Quimby Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Cams are 265/265 speedvision, specs said 8mm lift, but mesured them, and it said 8,7mm Quote
Chief Quimby Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Well, would have installed them, but not that easy to find rims, that would fit over those 330mm brakes Quote
daniel_g Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I hope you have something else to stop the car then, ie, multiple parachutes and/or magnetic fields. Quote
Chief Quimby Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I am not trying to break any speed records, build it for fun, to se how much power that 5e could handle Quote
Banbury Glanza Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Any chance of a few more pics ?? Quote
Phil Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I hope you have something else to stop the car then, ie, multiple parachutes and/or magnetic fields. I understand the doubt but if your running big slicks 13inch is the norm so stock brakes are the norm. 5e here running over 600hp and always been stock brakes to get under the big tyres/small wheels Phil Quote
TurboTobz Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 to be fair I'm sure spuddy personally rated the standard brakes of 400bhp area Quote
Chief Quimby Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Well those standard brakes are just fine to stop the cars once, i am not using it to race crazy, just for fun. Quote
Chief Quimby Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) You mean more Picture of car ? Edited November 4, 2013 by Chief Quimby Quote
daniel_g Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I believe this car started life as an N/a, correct if wrong, so brakes would be smaller than the turbo equivalents. Quote
daniel_g Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Not that it matters to the owner as he has just said Pics of the car would be great Quote
Chief Quimby Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Yes, but can still stop the car once, just as good, as if there where bigger brakes installed Quote
klyfax Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 I am not running those fansy 17", but some nice 13" steel with 145/65-13. Think they look cool. Sorry my bad. Quote
Socks Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 No Boost Controller? Not Even a Boost Gauge to keep an eye on things (which I would want to do with an internal wastegate setup)? Please show me some proof this is 400bhp+? GT3071R's are huge, and this thing has a stock radiator?Really space for a turbo that big? What Rolling Road was this run on? Not saying I disbelieve you.... Just amazed more then anything!More Pictures Please! Quote
TurboTobz Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 is that stock coil ignition? 400bhp on that? Quote
fremyjay Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Surely a stock radiator cannot handle the cooling on a 440bhp engine as above standard ignition too?? Quote
