I sent in the old ct9 on an exchange basis, so they check for measurements/fitments and then build me a brand new hybrid turbo. Should all be done in less than a week hopefully. Cant wait to get her back, seems like ive been without her for so long. If anyones got any bhp figures for standard boost pressures on a hybrid, could you let us know, cheersJoe. That's the one who's brother in law owns Kai Performance in Aylesford, who I was telling you about. Small world eh? No it aint done yet, apparently the mechanic sent my old turbo to the manufactures address rather than their other address, apparently he thinks they're bullshittin' him just trying to buy some time. Couriers are supposed to drop it off at some point today, hopefully. I was thinking, when the new turbo's in i'd like to get it to the dyno to check what the hybrid and decat have added! I've got shit loads of experience working with children with special needs, particularly autism, so fingers crossed I'll have some income for my hybrid powered baby. Good News! The new turbo's arrived Bad news - Still waiting on the de-cat pipe. Unfortunately as i have a new job lined up i'm asking him to fit it when he gets the de-cat asap, so there wont be any pictures until i get her on the ramps. But i'm gona to have to get up some videos of the new turbo and exhaust note, hopefully over the weekend!Really gettin agitated now, I can believe its been 3 weeks and 3 days!!!!pics up soon. joe-ep91 Posted May 8, 2008 Author Share Posted May 8, 2008 Sorry have been quite busy recently, looking for new jobs, splitting up with my girlfriend etc etc. Well the hybrid's on, unfortunately couldn't get any pics due to the fact that as soon as the turbo was delivered to the workshop it was fitted! ;) Taken off the BOV due to leakages (Not surprised as it was only a cheapy one) so got standard recirc valve linked up. Picked up the new downpipe, but i'm unsure of what make it is. The workshop seemed to think it was a zep decat but i'll put some pics up in a bit for u to look at, and you can see for yourselves. Downpipe will be fitted tomorrow and then possibly a new clutch as well as new uprated discs and pads due to having a bit more power.Cheers 4 looking ;) Joe. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Hybrid's only running at half bar at the mo, but with the decat it seems quicker than the old turbo at 0.7 bar! Gonna get myself a boost controller and boost gauge so i can run 0.7/0.8 bar. I definately recommend this hybrid set up to any one, even though i haven't really given it a good test yet, with the exhaust now officially turbo-back (with decat) it sounds so mean when i'm giving it beans. Anyway, here's a few piccs, sorry but didnt manage to get any individual pics of the turbo due to needing it fitted for work asap:BOV with new spring (Old one was far too soft and leaked boost)Decat (Unsure of make)I've gone for the sleeper engine bay look! (Or can't afford any other mods just yet,hehe) She deserved a clean after all that hard work sitting in the garage :Anyone heard of these alloys before?Thanks for looking. Haven't really done loads to it but have acquired the following:40mm lowering springs (gonna wait and get uprated shocks too)mushroom style air filterautogauge boost gaugeblitz DD blow of valveoh yeah and a CAP paddle clutch!Clutch hasn't gone on yet but i'll be fitting it with a mate tomorrow night! Can't wait as i've had clutch problems on and off since i got the car rolling roaded in february!Also JAG is coming round tomorrow morning and were gonna give my wheels a refurb and spray them in white! Here's a few pics of my new purchases:Not amazing wheels but hopefully they will look ok in white tomorrow:Got this off a mate for £50!!! Bargain...Anyone order pizza!
