Gizzmo boost controller worth £100?

I've got a chance to buy a gizzmo boost controller the ms-ibc model for £100 pretty much new comes with everything to wire in. Is that a good price to pay?

GFB G-Force II is an excellent unit also, and not much more money than a Gizzmo.

We run one of the GFB units in our 3SGTE Corolla, works very well.

Yeah in my experience they are cheap and cheerful, and hold boost reasonably well for the money

The settings on them you can't program them to not blow your car up, you can buy a HKS one for around £140 push that extra cash for the proper JDM one I would without a doubt

The GFB is just £224.99 inc VAT.

In my opinion it is well worth the £35.00.

For £200 odd quick you can get a used Apexi AVC-R. Also had a Gizmo boost controller in my brothers GT, was terrible. Never worked, complete nightmare

When gizzmos are set up properly they are good. When a chump sets them up in 5 minutes they are shit. Mine held a bar perfectly for over a year. Didn't spike, nothing... I liked it! It was super fricking bright though and that pissed me off. Only downside really!

I'd recommend Apexi AVC-r's. Brand new your looking at silly money. Idrees has an immaculate condition Avc-r he may sell for the right price

Greddy Little complicated but with the instructions easy enough.

Apexi Avcr grand though like (every apexi item~safc neo blah) it has so many options that you wonder just what they were thinking.

Big ol blitz yoke is the ticket, simple and rocket solid with the big solenoid, so long as you dont have boost issues elsewhere in the car.

Or just be awesome and use a standalone.

Yeah i dunno whats with the gizzmo slaggin, mines worked perfectly since its been fitted,holds boost great and is nice and adjustable. I think its more idiots setting them up wrong and slaggin them because they havent got a pritty screen to look at lol, maybe you should try reading the instructions!! and what you mean it doesnt have safety feratures lol, of course it does, it has overboost protection and a couple of other others if i remember right!

I agree mine does 1.6 bar perfectly. cant complain.

You know you can dim it down and it's not that bright.

Yea there 170ish the gizzmos and for me that is my max I would spend out on one.

And I have heard nothing but good about them.thats what I am going for then.

for the money i reckon there top compared to what else you can buy for the same, everyone says get a blitz or his, but there like £400+!
