Krissyb
Update: Big thanks to Abbott as I managed to source some spare parts like hubs, lower arms, shocks and springs ready to swap everything and also refresh aload of bits like bearings, ball joints, track rod ends and stuff. Also a big thanks to Dean @ RW for modifiying my catch tank and rocker cover Gave the old girl a clean up Started having a bash at cleaning stuff up and sorting the issues I've been having like heater matrix being crap, leaky rocker cover. I also found aload of other issues such a the heater matrix pipes split and bodged on, rusty jubilee clips and just general wear and tear. However this will all be rectified and sorted. All this reasy for Dean @ RW to fabricate my new manifold and make a back door intercooler and custom Rad for the old girl. My bargain of the year up next BNIB massive thanks to Abbott for getting this Stay tuned for some more updates. Edited March 6, 2014 by Krissyb

Krissyb
Update : So while the car was at Deans he was kind enough to let us fit some Chassis parts as the Old ones were ..........HANGING. So on went the Refurbed and powdercoated hubs and new wheel bearingsRefurbed lower arms and poly bushes Whiteline drop linksWhiteline anti-roll barNew ball jointsBaffled sump Picked the car up Saturday from Dean and well what can I say the build quality and attention to detail is epic, I am dead chuffed and hope that on Wednesday I can get the old girl mapped and ready for the ring. Dean has done a cracking job, the back door entry on the intercooler should make for minimal lag along with the Greddy td04 11b which should add to the response of the car. The radiator has been moved over aswell and the Intercooler fabricated so that the bumper stays as OEM as possible. Today saw Abbott and Halifax come up and fit the following: Emnanage Blue and Boomslang harnessBlitz Dual SBCTD Fuel pumpNew Fuel filterNew Strut braceHi-attain throttle pulleyThey also wired in the fan. I set about refurbing the bolloxed brakes that were frankly seized solid through poor up keep. However after pulling them apart and giving them a bit of TLC the sliders are lovely and working as they should. The WMS 110% Brake kit and Ferodo ds2500 pads should haelp stop the old girl nicely. I also powdercoated the hangers and will give the Calipers a lick of Black tommorrow. Just the rear to do now , tyres to fit along with a panhard rod, greddy oil cooler and geo setup before the Ring trip next Thursday.... Oh and a map on Wednesday :-) Pics below guys: Edited April 21, 2014 by Krissyb
