Scott-EP Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) As above, Anyone tell if these are Genuine? Edited January 13, 2014 by gtr-r33 Quote
Liam_D Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 They look like it to me, but I could be wrong without seeing the backs? Is there any stickers/markings on the back? Quote
_shaun_ Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Yea they are on genuine ones the stud holes are all slightly offset to the spokes where as on copy's 2 are perfectly centered Quote
Scott-EP Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Cheers guys, Ive not got the car yet so haven't got the wheels off to look... Know how much they are worth? They are in very good condition! Quote
Scott-EP Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 I will when i get the car home in a couple of weeks Quote
_shaun_ Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Think browner sold his set for 500ish. Id bet money they are the real deal as I say you can tell rotas by the stud holes. Quote
Scott-EP Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Well i need to decide whether to keep them and get them refurbed to a different colour.. Or sell them and get different wheels as i really don't like white wheels on white cars! Quote
_shaun_ Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I had them in white on my white v and loved them but white wheels are just a nightmare for keeping clean. When I sold mine far to many people just said but I can buy a set of new rotas for that rather annoying ha Quote
Scott-EP Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Yeah i can understand people doing that though, Probably be best to keep them and get them changed colour then! Quote
WallaceGlanza Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Certainly look the real deal, have the proper valves too... and typically faded rays nuts. Quote
Beastmode panda Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Yes they're real. Imagine that the brackets below are the wheel and the plus symbol and ex symbol represent the holes. The quick way to tell is by looking at the stud holes. On rotas they're like a plus symbol in between the spokes like this (+) .. On te37's the stud holes are like this (x). Quote
Flynn Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Ahhhhhhhhhhh so much want for a set of these.....in white lol (black car though)Was gonna import a pair from Japan but shit out when I calculated the import duty etc lolAs said, stud pattern corresponds with genuine TE37's. I'd defo have payed £500 for a good set a few months back.........bitch got Rota's for now though. Quote

maddox710 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Should have this on the inside of the wheel Quote
christyep91 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 the replica wheels don't have a raised lip around the centre cap hole and the valve stem hole only rays do also the alloy valve stems I've never seen replica with them. Quote
