Hey all from Australia :)

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd say hi to everyone :)

Ive been a Starlet owner for the last 5years and have had numerous GT's and GI's.

I am a member on a few other Starlet forums and enjoy all the knowledge and banter found across all the starbo forums. Im sure you will all agree that you can never have enough knowledge when it comes to these little motors, which is why I joined here too :)

Anyways, heres a few pictures of how she stands at the minute. There are a few mods on the way which Include :- custom ramhorm manifold with external wastegate and screamer, emanage ultimate and FMIC on the way.

Since Ive had the car I have compression tested the cylinders and have a relatively decent engine with all the pressures being within 1 psi of each other :)

All brakes refurbed front and back, painted and new pads put in. New rotas front and back. And brake fluid totally drained, flushed and refilled (killer of a job but I doubt its ever been done as it was black like treacle)

Uprated lowered suspension all round

Refurbished Toms C2 light weight alloys

OMP deep dish wheel

Removed Aircon

Removed power steering

Renewed most rad and turbo pipes with new red silicone items

reconditioned CT9a

Painted a few bits in the engine bay.

Oil catch can with correct 2 PCV's plumbed in

Oil changed 2x within 100 kilometers so only fresh oil in :)

Gear box oil drained and flushed 2x within 100 kilometers :)

Theres a whole lot more but I will do a build thread at some point this week for you all :)

Had the Starlet since Jan and only done 132 kilometers in it LOL

Anyways - enough about me and the car :)

Thanks all :)

G'day mate

Hey :)

Welcome along mate :) looks like a good base there, is there a BIG build plan or just plod along and see what happens ?

James

Hey James,

No extreme plans. Just building my own ramhorn mani with external gate. Then going FMIC and EMU to manage it.

Probably TD04 down the line, but just steady away for now :)

Its nice up the sunny coast. Im more of a country bumpkin tho :)

The higher spec Starlets like the GT's and Glanza's are few and far between. I think Ive seen 1 in the last 6 months and its parked in my garage :)

THeres plenty of Jap cars tho, lots and lots of evo's, scoobies and LOTS of skylines.
