Andy32
Hi looking for some advise again guys.Looking to decat the GT and wondered is it a straight forward job, as in does it need anything readjusting such as fuelling etc or is it a bolt on and forget??Also does standard lambda in decat work ok??Many thanks again for any advise!!Andrew. Ollieh17
Just bolt on mate, standard lambda will fit in the thread. From my experience doesn't bring a engine managmemet light up either. There is two 'lambdas in the standard cat' one is a cat temp sensor. You can unplug this with a decat
glanzadude
Yes mate just fit and forget till mot

crawleysam
If it's pre 92' you'll pass with decat iirc
5e colin
a great upgrade to go with it is a light fly does wonders for rising revs :) kinda free bhp
daniel_g
Can go right up to 31.7.1995 and still pass emissions with a decat, aslong as the engine is sound, not buring oil or that.
Glanza-Ben
Easy mod takes around 30 mins to swap it over
Ollieh17
Not essential but alot easier if you take the rad out first
fiddlersport
less risk of damaging the rad that is if you have the stock but most people are running the civic rad, half the size
Ollieh17
Chances are, if itsstill got the cat its still got a standard rad! That was my assumption anyway.either way, no rad alot more space
mikey4410
will very possibly overboost with a decat though so be careful. u dont wana keep hitting fuel cut.
Ryan_EP82 GT
Makes a nice change to the exhaust note too
Gainzy
Look for a blitz cast iron decat and be prepared to buy new genuine gaskets x2
