gorganl2000 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I don't think that's the same Supra pump? Unfortunately that works out to be a lot more than I can afford to spend, but thanks is your car modified?.......if so, id advise you save some money till you can afford a genuine pump i also went with a denso pump directly from the toyota dealer (celica gt4 fuel pump if i remember correctly),,,,it was more expensive but never had a problem with it and NO loud noise...about 7-8 years running now based on the choices above....i would go with aeromotive or denso Quote
Amjad Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 Yes, running 1 bar CT9 with supporting mods The denso seems a bit over the top though seeing as people rate the TD pumps to be decent enough Quote
steve1093 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I'm running the Tuning Developments one, works spot on for me on the TD04 Quote
Idrees Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 You can't go wrong with a genuine Walbro, the whine sounds awesome (imo). Quote
Amjad Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 Thanks lads. Iddy I was looking at the Walboro but having only 1 year warranty sways me more toward the TD pump Quote
Idrees Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Atleast it's a warranty that you won't need to use. Quote
Bussey Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 My Walbro is still going strong, was fitted 4 years ago Quote
kbond Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I've been running a td one for a few year and it's spot on, never heard a whine from it Quote
Amjad Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 Well I've gone for a Walboro! Id Workz list it as having 2 year warranty, and I should be able to hear if it ever does fail Thanks for your feedback everyone Quote
