Any idea if they will fit our 4e engines if the belhousing and shifter linkages are swapped?

From a quick look at Mrs and Elise exige boxes the linkages comes out of the front side of the gearbox rather than the rear

So custom linkage maybe required

Another option is a guy on facebook sells corolla tsport gearboxes with the lsd and 6th gear from these.

Better 1-5th ratios but a long 6th for cruising and the linkages would be the correct way round

Drive shaft splines are different aswell. If you really want a 6sp box with an lsd you would be better of getting a c160 from a levin 20v, You would still then need to swap the bellhousings over.

Thanks for the replies guys. I wouldn't be running big power only ct9 hybrid on my 4e or the 5e i have. So shredding gears shouldn't be any issue for me.

It sounds like it's a no go though for the size of them and the shafts not fitting.

Cheers

I was hoping done fwd linkages could be fitted to it.

ofcoure it can be swapped over

but the 2002 mr2 i was working on last week hase the levers in same spot as starlet so no need for swapping ha ha
