starletezy Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Good choice buddy looking forward to seeing more updates on this Quote
morgey Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Figured you would but was just checking 👍As for the TPS, im sure when one of the other lads did his with tt600 throttles, he just needed to file off the lug on the tps connector and it plugged straight in. Quote
EP70-PT Posted May 19, 2016 Author Posted May 19, 2016 Me too, can't wait to get the parts xD still need to source a PCV valve grommet aswell as sorting out the TPS... don't know which one to use, the Triumph one or the TOYOTA... Quote

richardc9052 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Did you decide on length for the runners yet? Quote
EP70-PT Posted May 21, 2016 Author Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) The mani + 90 degree joiners, the setup will be adjusted over time, thinking about getting the manifold and ITB's welded in one piece this summer, need to find a shop that welds alloy...As for fuel side of things, don't know if I should get an AFC Neo or emanage blue so I have more flexibility Edited May 21, 2016 by EP70-PT Quote
richardc9052 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Ecumaster det3. Would be best. Has a road dyno to so while numbers aren't accurate you can see changes to the power curve. I would definitely advise you make them solid. That's something I wish I did with mine. Try and get the overall length to about 400mm. If you have to use trumpets to achieve this then so be it. Quote
EP70-PT Posted May 22, 2016 Author Posted May 22, 2016 I could get some trumpets welded too yeah, or find some way of fitting some on the triumph tb's, my priority now is to make them work Quote

5e colin Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Making them work is the easy part must be sweet with a turbo Quote
EP70-PT Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 must be sweet with a turbo Itb's + turbo would have to get solid runners welded Quote
EP70-PT Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 It's ALIIIIIIIIIIIVEEEE!!!!!! https://youtu.be/Gxx7F7k1QkE Quote
MoBro Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) Now that's seriously nice. Do you reckon it will make more power as well in addition to the better response? I kind of want to do that now, got an corolla intake in it right now and a 98' starlet one as spare. Edited May 26, 2016 by MoBro Quote
EP70-PT Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 Requires a lot of patience and fiddling mate, but if you can, go for it, it's a cool project Quote
jeffrosie Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Sounds like a heavily tuned engine when you rev it. Really amazing. Next thing to do is install the FTE valve springs so to make use of even higher revs and piggy back/stand alone ECU Quote
