Just an interesting point, why lots of JEG number plates?

Recommended Posts

I've noticed that a lot of Starlet seem to have JEG as the last 3 letters in the numberplate?

Lots of on ebay for sale, lots i've seen on the road, including my one?

Is it something relevant or just coincidence? Never noticed it with other cars before?

I know a lot of import Jap RX7 came with EMO plates when they came into the UK.

Anyone know anything of all the JEG numberplates?

aye just todo with where there registered.

obv on older cars the first letters the year but the last letter is based on where its registered.

new registrations its the opposite so the first 2 letters are where there from. thats why your local police force cars will likely all start with the same numbers because they all are bought/registered in the same area before being deployed. example all our local police cars start SF which stands for Scotland-glasgow office
