If you do not have a HKS FCD fitted you will not need to worry about that particular issue. But the Jam ECU will not have been mapped for your specific setup. but like any ECU there will be a large table of values for Fuel/Ignition/Map that all relate to each other What has been proven is that these ECUs rarely overfuel horribly at idle so long as you are using a stock FPR. (so one could safely assume they were mostly mapped for stock injectors) then given the information the ECU has at its disposal so long as the original owner wasn't flowing alot more air at the same boost

Your emanage scaling will be for the 3bar greddy unit probably Your still just using a 5v sensor But the voltage output on one sensor doesn't equate to the same pressure on a different sensor Phil

Is a baffeled sump & oil cooler a must have for track use
Phil replied to tommyep82's topic in Performance & Track Days
that is your take on it and fair enough. You have highlighted the emphasis I was getting at inadvertently - they search for A but find an arguement. Your position was pretty clear already as you were quick to defend/slag up above. I'm not saying Adam or Stu or you are blameless I just was pointing out that Stu lost the rag somewhat when really it seems like he was the first person to be rude (Adams belittling coming after stu's initial lmao (typo perhaps?) I can see how it has all developed same as anyone and really I'm not that interested except to say we can do better. Even I can do be -
Thanks what sort of mods would make a difference ? I don't want to start listing random crap that makes no odds to you. Hp probably about 300/330 maybe 370+ the odd time Phil

Phil replied to tommyep82's topic in Performance & Track Days
Yup Daniel could have been a misunderstanding or typo for sure But the way the thread developed isn't right. It's a forum for all the read If someone searches for info on baffled sumps or oil coolers this will appear - isn't really a great presentation of the starlet community Phil -
Let's say modified and used on track for short durations only (2laps then cool) What would you recommend Phil

Getting heated about very little lads. Whether your right or wrong aside Stu, I don't know your history with Adam but based on this thread you were the first person to laugh your ass off at someone else. Pretty cheeky to be fair. Need to get on abit better lads- It's in nobody interest to get wound up online. Phil
