Oil pressure question, anybody here help at all?
Phil replied to MARC MOSS's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
Only thing that would freighten me is the thought that maybe your oil pump is slowly dieing and maybe the extra strain of the extra cooler and pipework has made that more obvious? I know sometimes when a fuel pump is dying its not any sort of immediate failure but rather at peak loads it fall short on supply. Ie it achieves rail pressure at idle but starts falling short when your map is holding those injectors close to wide open Just a thought as I've never had an oil pump fail and I've removed a couple of manky oem ones. Quick Google shows the ripspeed did release a wheel similar to a ce28 at one stage. Not saying it's a lesser or greater wheel than the set I'm selling simply that it's not the set I'm selling Hope that makes sense Phil -

Those bungs are a nice touch man. I've manys a time fired a screw or bolt up a vac line. That's a real tidy solution Phil
-
These are fantastic injectors guys and genuinely a steal of a price for something that's cleaned and glow tested They can also be 'uncapped' if you ever needed more flow than 430cc so a very very good buy Phil

https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/190993827871 ^ that sensor Which then looks like this when fitted to the stock throttle body Phil
-
Skyline gtr denso sensor fits straight on but you just need to tap two holes for the bolts to hold it in place Unbelievably the two holes are already supplied drilled on the stock throttle body to make it extra easy Phil
-
Yeah I'm running this pump for last 6 months no issues. Phil
