Having had quite a few cars over the years I'm back where I started 14 years ago. Picked it up today and had a fantastic 100mile drive home where it just ticked over 60k. 4 owners and loads of history. There is a slight scuff on the front bumper but will be sorted easily. My only gripe is that some plonker has welded on the tte tail pipe upside down on the new back box! Will be getting sorted v soon as it's driving me mad. Other than that though near immaculate body and mechanically sound so I'm chuffed. Anyone who knows me knows it won't get repped- at most it'll get crystal lights, clear indicators and slight wheel spacers along with a wheel refurb but that's about it. I'll also be tweaking the interior and giving the engine bay a proper clean but will post up pics as I go along. Also I was wondering if anyone knows if these ever had the option of front fog lights as this has some and the install looks pretty good like it's meant to be there along with a proper matching fog light switch.
  2. I got this today
  3. Have you got any further with this mate?
  4. Ha ha it's v cheap but the mileage is a bit over what I wanted and it's quite far away from me. Cheers anyway mate ;)
  5. Ha ha I've got cash ready to save one but I want a black one and there aren't any good ones at the min just realised that cheeky twat is also trying to make a profit!
  6. defiantly over priced especially when you've got a mint silver one with 32k on the clock with the tte box etc £1300. I love these cars but it's taking the piss a little. Plus low mileage isnt everything. Shame it's not as good as it was- there will be no good ones left soon
  7. Pm'd ref dial surround and wind deflectors
  8. I'm after a Black SR in good condition. Mileage isn't a huge factor but condition is. The car will be cherished and very well looked after. I've got cash waiting, just trying to find the right car. Thanks Jase
  9. Sounds like a plan. I still havnt got an sr today was a wasted trip. Anyone know where I can find a GOOD black sr?
  10. Wow mate unreal!
  11. It's an sr so will be running speedlines. Ok I'll have a measure
  12. Thanks I'll have a look
  13. Ha ha. Well I should finally be picking a decent one up on Monday after a lot of searching. Sold my MPS today so finally got some money to put into it. Do you think 5mm will make much difference? I'm toying with 10-15 but don't want rolled arches etc. Everything I read says I'll need extended studs for 5mm anyway
  14. Oh and looking good morgey. Not selling your car yet are you? I've got cash waiting
  15. Are the na spacers the same as glanza ones? I was thinking just 5mm as I don't really want to mess about with new studs
  16. Exactly but I want genuine parts but don't really want to use toyota
  17. Timing belt side- the car needs a cambelt and was thinking of doing quite a few things at once
  18. Hi all, wondering how much people have been paying for timing kits + fitting? Also aux belt, crank seal, and full dizzy set up? Thanks Jase
  19. Where abouts in Wiltshire? The black one has bc coilovers but yours looks much much cleaner
  20. It'll look lovely once the full conversion is sorted mate and like is said it'll still be a sleeper- power wise and handling
  21. Absolutely epic, love the purple. Would have loved to have seen it stay a total sleeper but I think to a degree it still will be with people thinking its a glanza. Fantastic attention to detail
  22. It's lovely mate, nearly in the market for one again but will probe miss out
  23. V interested in this- been thinking of this conversion for ages. Good solid and reliable engines with 190 on tap the cars are dirt cheap aren't they!
  24. It's obviously a huge job and as mentioned, there will be a lot of teething problems. Pleased nothing has gone bang looking forward to seeing the results. The whole custom loom set up sounds mental! All sounds a lot harder than just doing a 2zz NA conversion
  25. Yeh our tax isn't the cheapest but insurance for me is £240 all in so the way I see it is tax and insurance have just swapped places plus I pay for it monthly
