On the motorway td04 is alot more efficient than a ct9. Proof is in the miles

Awesome mate. Obviously laggier but feels alot better with the bum dyno! Pulls to the redline aswell Awesome mate. Obviously laggier but feels alot better with the bum dyno! Pulls to the redline aswell

Agree with arnold. With a ct9 i struggled to get 120 miles to £25, then tf035 around 130miles. So far best with a td04 is 150miles

*even more like a micra -
even if you're running a 1 one bar spring and want to run 1bar boost, the ebc will control the boost much better than just the spring alone

New turbo on and its fine now. Had a similar issue with a ct9 and all worked fine after swapping the turbo

Turbo was fucked mate. A little bit of oil in the pipings

as some people may have seen currently having issues with the turbo. The car will not be sold until a full functioning td04 is replaced -
Bit off topic (sorry Mikey) but as theres two turbo guys on here though i'd ask. My td04 isn't boosting since installing it. Primed the turbo before the first start up and only boosts to 0.1 then there is a strange squealing noise. The turbo came as a working turbo off a Subaru so has been rotated by myself and the guy is adamant the turbo is fine. What would cause a turbo make this noise(if it is the turbo not a boost leak somewhere very hidden)?

seen the new ones on here and too much for me really. So something idy under £100. Been sold alot of shit ones bu scooby owners

Unless it was turbod the ep3 is on my 'never want to own list' mainly because of the majority of people thay buy them. For many its the best 'jdm fast car' you can buy.... -
The ring did fall out when fitting but put it back in. May take it off and have a look again. Just praying it isn't the turbo...again

Nope wastegate is welded and as it was im sure. If its the wastegate it would make a distincitve noise right, like gas leaking through screamer etc?
-
Yuppp only took the hotside off the car and put back on the same as before. Sounds like a massive boost leak that would be pretty noticeable

Year:1997 Model: Glanza V Tax: September 2014 MOT: March 2015 Mileage:106,000 mixture of km and miles (daily driver) Description: Owned this car for a year now. Its been enjoyable and at times an absolute ballache. However this car will never fail to put a smile on your face when driving. The car is in good condition for the age of the vehicle, with the expected few scratches and minor car park dents that are only visible in certain lights(being honest). Car comes with MOT until March, passed previous MOT with two advisories, slight oil leak and slight play in rear wheel bearing. I haven't got round to sorting these yet. Although not on the MOT i believe a front wheel bearing may be on its way out. I can include a set of hubs with new wheel bearings off the ID workz demo car. SPEC: Engine: Standard Glanza 4efte J performance front mount intercooler to suit TD04 Zisco Ram Horn TD04 Manifold and downpipe(external gated) Tial 38MM Vband Wastegate and vband screamer TD04 turbo off a low mileage Subaru running at 0.6bar Catch can setup New ignition coil 6months ago NGK HT Leads NGK iridium spark plugs Oil change every 4k miles J performance civic rad and low profile fan Chassis: D2 Coilovers front and rear Whiteline(i believe) Panhard Rod Standard front Strut WMS 110% disks with greenstuff pads and forge front braided brake lines Interior: Subaru WRX seats on modified glanza rails HKS Boost Gauge and HKS turbo timer Oil pressure, oil temp and water temp gauges in pod MCgill motorsport steering wheel, sparco quick release steering wheel and short boss Double DIN CD player Exterior: BMW e30 bottle cap wheels(also have some rp01s that need tyres and spraying the car can be sold on) Brand New Uncut 98 sec bumper sprayed astral black within the last 3 months Optional ducktail spoiler also sprayed astral black recently Bad points: Driver side outer cv joint needs a new boot One wheel front wheel bearing could do with being changed(included in the price) Small dent and scratch on the bonnet Paint chip on rear bumper quick release bumper pins on wings Sure i've missed some stuff. Been on this forum for over a year and have bought and sold stuff lots and like to think im a respected member. My build thread is on here so welcome to read through. Im due to move out and looking to buy a car standard and fast i won't need to modify. Also have tons of spares im willing to let go with the car. Price: £3200 more than happy to adjust the spec to suit peoples budgets Pictures: Contact Details: Text on 07860674426, or PM me on here. On here most of the time so will pick up pms quickly

Fitted my new td04 and it wont boost above 0.1bar. Beyond that is makes a high pitch squeeling noise. I have tested for boost leaks by covering the turbo intake, this lead to one of the intercooler pipes sucking in on itsself. Looked at this pipe and couldnt see any rips etc?!? Is the leak likely to be before or after this silicone?!? Pissing me off now, old turbo was smokey so swapped it. Now no boost. Just want rid of the car

What its like compared to your glanza? Dont know wether to finish the glanza at 230bhp or sell up now and buy a s14 or a soarer -
The ecu has to get a signal from somewhere..
