Garrett say journal bearing turbos don't need a restrictor, just a decent oil return. Not sure if GT20 is ball bearing? Have you checked for any kinks or up hill sections on the oil return? I run a gt17 no restrictor and an10 oil return and have no issue with smoke (gt17 is journal) Imagine compression is low because of the 1.4 headgasket and possibly low comp pistons?

To me a daily is good on fuel, cheap to run reliable and useful. Alot of these cars are more of a second car than a daily

Probably just a 1.3, nothing that special. They did a detamosa which was a 1.6 but they are rare. Havent really made anything that 'sporty' since the GTTi

Its great fun at 0.8bar, coilovers on and 200hp it should be pretty nippy to say the least.

Turbo kit all fitted and running at 0.8bar after a simple fix. Sounds insane! Will be routing back into the downpipe as i prefer the induction chatter noises.similar power delivery to a starlet with a td04. Should make good power with some proper boost Brand new delphi 440cc injectors for a mustang etc. These are pretty cheap and just need a bit of trimming to fit the standard plugs. Maybe a cheap available option for starlets too?

Tbh i'd remove the part about 'not like the prick in high wycombe'. Personally for me that would put me off, wether right or wrong i imagine other people too, will make automatic assumptions about someone who starts an ad like that. Putting something at the end of the ad saying you are a trusted seller within the 'scene' etc would be alot better. Dont take it the wrong way, just my 2p

They are all pretty much the same. Triple core is probably a bit OTT. My car always ran colder with a half rad, which isnt always a good thing

I ran a tf035, was a good turbo never mapped it though. Realistically i think youd be looking at more like 200-250 at a push, but pretty responsive!

Check airfilter, i had a problem with that recently. Didnt even cross my mind to check when i had no boost

Sorted it. Silicone hose inside the air filter was pushed in too far and sucking against plastic

Its 0.8 spring. Goes from -0.5 up to just below zero but no further.i think the turbos shot

Yup primed and filled with turbo start oil that came with it. Turbo spins fine.i think it may be the wastegate
