sometimes you just have to risk it and start it. Constantly cranking wipes the oil off the bearings eventually anyway!

Im using 10w40 but on a different car(specific running in oil) would prefer 5w40. I didnt have a gauge. Just waited for the light to go out. Other option i have heard is pack the oil pump with vaseline to help draw a vaccum

I would say 15w40 is probably a bit to thick to start with. I had a similar issue when first starting and poured oil straight down the oil filter housing and cranked it for a bit and all was fine.

They basically trapped me. Tried to cancel the policy just past two weeks. Tried to charge me £500 to cancel it!! 😂 what im trying to say is any gas that comes out in front of you is likely to go into the cabin wether. If its a car in front or leaking in your bay. Pointing it at the floor will have little effect. Hot air rises and then you are driving through it. Best bet would be to point it out the side somewhere or route back ino exhaust

You need to turn the wipers on and off. When off the MOTOR will be at the end of its travel. You then need to put the wipers on to the splines in the right position
