    Frequent oil changes with a lesser brand is still better than using more expensive oil for longer i think. Most oils meet the required spec anyway and alot better than the oil when these came out

    Its because people just wack them on without a decent skim and deck. Cant remember the nane but theres a rating for the smoothness of the surface and mls have to be in a certain range.

    Polish exhaust ports, gasket match the runners and remove any cast marks.

    That gtti is outrageous lol, it was sold for £4000 rest is mark up. LHD model too. I think starlets will meet the same fate, be almost forgotten about and never go up massively in value unlike the renault 5s.

    Recheck the bolts, i sprayed the MLS i put on my car with vht copper gasket spray to make sure this didnt happen. Some people use it some argue you don't

    Dont have a starlet anymore. Had greenstuff and they were awful, spent ages bleeding rebuilding the brakes etc to come to the conclusion it was the pads that were shit

    Greenstuff pads are awful mate. Not sure on yellow but ebc stuff doesnt have good reputation amongst some people

    Not very simple to use accurately especially a digital micrometer. Easy to get measurements yeh, but spot on accurate ones not most people can do

    Have a standard manifold and cat here! Also have a turbo but cant say 100%.want £50 for the lot

    Car is now in for the custom turbo kit at fusion fabrications. Omex 600 in the pipeline too. Cant wait!

    I always had a problem with an old autogauge. Mechanical gauge is more reliable

    Probably just the gauge. If you had 0psi the engine wouldnt last long
