Id go for a celica conversion or levin twinpot. Down the line you'll probably want better brakes so may aswell get them out the way first. Pretty sure you can get a kit off here for similar price to these fast road setups. On my v the standard brakes were always shit no matter the pads disks etc

Take the shaft off as above. Little circlip on the inner bearings, undo that and they slide off. You can then change the boots without stretching them over the cv joints etc.
Condensation in the exhaust picks up soot and leaves a mark. Next door neighbour had a white car and i had a side exit had to park the other way. Its pretty normal when cold
Found some more info on the car today. Has wosner low comp pistons, custom forged titaniun arrow speed rods, lightened fly and upgraded clutch. Nice to know theres potential in the engine for a lot more power
