very rare k10 micra march turbo
morgey replied to russ78's topic in eBay, BidJDM, Yahoo Auction Finds
Shame it's not the Super turbo! -
Regarding the welds. It's aluminium which is harder to weld than steel so is much harder to get a good Finish with. The other welds shown in the link later on are steel hence a better Finish.

Blurple EP91 from Berlin - MASSIVE UPDATE
morgey replied to sharki_p9's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
That's some impressive figures for a n/a 4e dude! Well done, whats the spec? Love the look of it, even with the n/a kit it looks so aggressive for some reason -
My mate did a tuna sandwich pint. Ale Tin of tuna Salad cream Some other shit Really don't see the point

Theres an aweful lot more to it than fitting the lsd. You will need gear pullers and a hydraulic press to get the gears off and on. Loads of fiddley parts to go missing. If you do it logically and make note of what goes where it will be fine. Try taking pictures to remind yourself how bits go. This is the 1st to 4th assembly. The selector arms come out easily enough and the gear sets come out but to remove the gears you need a gear splitter and a puller. You then have 5th gear that has to be removed before you can even get to this. When can be hard work on it's own. The selector hubs alon

Think There's a vibration dampener on there usually. Not really needed. I'd say that's been broke a while looking at that and how rusty it is.

Synchro's are around the £30 each mark I think

When I stripped mine it was all the back shizzle out, Nothing left. Front was still complete. Starlet door cards weigh as much as a tissue and the same with the roof lining.

On the cup that goes into the box there's a metal ring that sits in a groove. It should stop the shaft from coming out. I would expect the gaitor to split Or separate before the shaft Came Out the box, hence why I mention the snap ring
-
Did it rip the suspension off or something? Almost impossible to pop the shaft out without. I'd check that the pop ring is on the end of the shaft to make sure it locks in. And yes there's a seal fitted in the gearbox. Quite a tight fit and doesn't usually come out when removing the shaft. They are about £12-13 new if you want to replace them for the sake of it

Cusco brace. 55mm from bottom to hole center line. 13mm thick tubing. Please note the tape measure is missing the hook so add on 1mm
-
My 2.5" cleared my cusco brace with ease. Makes me think I could have mounted my engine a bit lower... oh well too late now lol
-
I've a cusco one off my car I can measure tonight.
-
Just need another top bulb holder. It screws in the bottom just the same. The guide is on here. Jamie is doing the same to his Sr so he might have a link by now.

morgey replied to Scott-EP's topic in Lifestyle General
These are ae111 levin/trueno optional recaro's. Also known as confetti recaro's. Expect to pay 350 plus a pair. -
I think the phrase 'more money than sense' sums this guy up pretty well #facepalm#
-
Id Check the tps from that.

They're the ones I'm on about. They had to be converted to suit UK roads (fog lights, mph and delimited) which was done by ralliart UK then sold through mitsibushi garages
-
They did a UK edition rallyart GSR. Basically a import but converted by rallyart specific dealerships And Sold By Mistsi dealers
-
Everything that's light grey in UK specs is the same grey as the UK spec darker grey (top of dash and top of doors etc) Makes a huge difference with the dark grey Imo.

Can get a 96 spec lense from Toyota for about £24 brand new if you can't find a 2nd hand one. -
I refuse to do it. What's the point in going out your way to buy some booze to thens it at home on your own and neck it? Fair enough if I was out or had some sitting about but I don't lol Been nominated twice n ain't bothered lol

Loosen the two nuts on the bottom of the shock and lift the disc/hub Up and then tighten them bolts up. I did the same when fitting my BC's
