  1. If its there it has to work. If it's not there then it can't be tested so no issue. Same with your spare wheel.
  2. You'll need the rack and column I think just so you know. Maybe someone could confirm?
  3. I've never really felt my rear end being light at all. It's always been fairly planted even back in 1.3 days. Only 2 times I've had the rear go light was on a slippery as hell roundabout that a few mates said the same thing and the other time was when I went though the bomb hole on Snetterton in 4th off the throttle. So that instance I wasn't surprised
  4. no roof lining and carpet is just horrid. tinny cold, condensation is a nightmare. just dont break it when you remove it as i'd put money on you being fed up within 3 weeks if its driven often.
  5. You need pics dude. Not many people will offer because all they can see is one passenger seat. You need at least one good pic of each door card, Each seat and another of the rear bench. It's not like you're trying to flog some stock seats for £20 make and effort and people will respond
  6. sound, cheers for that. ill do this to the cusco thats fitted when i remove it as im pretty sure that its not how it should be, will be better knowing what im selling if its been set up! do you know if the OEM helical diff cam be set like this or is that a fixed unit?
  7. all im going to say is. buy cheap buy twice. fair enough looking for good brands at cheaper prices though.
  8. cheers shorty. @ stu. I've heard the auto's respond to mods better though? and so far it would appear true. mine revs out to 8400 now anyway which for a stock motor is plenty imo, i wont be adding to that (if an emanage can?) I've got a 6 speed ecu with wiring to play about with if i need it but ideally i would like to sell it to recoup my losses on the trueno! and yeah thats the one, bolts to the back of the block. to create 2 equal length shafts. Glad to hear that as thats what i was hoping
  9. forgot to mention I've got another dyno day on the 8th march at the same place as the previous dyno's so hoping to get the cams in for then and will get the management on after as its the same place that can map it as ill be getting it dyno'd at. will be hoping to top 176hp 121lbft with the cams and the hopefully top that again with a map!
  10. Only just seen this. I'm actually running an auto ecu, I've read that there were differences between manual and auto but not between the 2 manual ecu's. So Not much has happened as per. Just been sitting really. Been slowly stripping the trueno for parts to sell and have kept this for myself. Not sure on the plug side of things yet as it's from a manual but we shall see. Got the cams to remove from the trueno for this and also the half shaft setup I'm going to attempt to use to try minimise any torque steer and aid traction
  11. They be the ones, on the n/a they are around the tb area. I tried moving them and it didn't run lol
  12. Naa there's a collection of about 4 small Earths that bolt on the inlet Iirc. Come from the main loom
  13. Earths on the back of the inlet mani. They're a common one to cause issues. Have to be mounted to inlet not anywhere else instead I've found
  14. Great work as usual dude! Can you explain what/how you check the diff preload. What is it you are looking for, as this is something I should really do before swapping my lsd's back over!
  15. sure i had the same thing a few weeks back
  16. also just remembered I've got some replacement rear arches for one of these down in the shed!
  17. I've only seen blue over black in the UK. white, red, black, silver or grey. the older ae82's and the import gtz levin supercharged versions have more of a mixed scheme i think
  18. my bro's engine with 185k on it went into an ae86. revvy little things! can 3sgte swap them fairly easily, 20v swaps bolt in but need wiring. etc etc
  19. Only like 150 left on our roads I think. Brother had 1 on the road and I stole the engine Out his other one. Rust is a massive issue, starts under the skirts. 4age engines are pretty much solid. Suspension parts are easy to come by as they are interchangeable between ae92 upto the 2000 model ae111/zze111 The facelift 90-91 has Different patterned seats and a non tvis "hi-torque" 4age smallport engine which has much better mid range and produces 128hp rather than the tvis which is 122hp.
  20. Pams house this weekend in Norwich. Tidy boys Kutski Cally gage Then residents Danny Bunch Ruddaz And tulous I'm not going but a few of my mates are.
  21. It's a le man's engine so good for upto 24 hrs of almost non stop abuse. I'm guessing you are quoting 70's F1 engines with the 2000hp? If so the lasted the whole of qualifying at that then detuned to race power for reliability for the whole of 1 race...
  22. Ferrets ear due to ease of accessibility in the confined space that Can be an engine bay. However if You Have the engine Out, Office Printer Everyday! White smoke will most likely be condensation. Have you lost any water or found cream in the oil or water?
  23. interested in door cards if theyre from electric
  24. Oops. That must be pretty hard in there.
  25. Got a few parts left from mine if anybodies interested. Carbon bonnet. 98 spec interior if I'd hasn't already got it. 6 speed lsd box Lol
