  1. Got a few parts left from mine if anybodies interested. Carbon bonnet. 98 spec interior if I'd hasn't already got it. 6 speed lsd box Lol
  2. 1.5l 3 cylinder and 400hp. Ok not all that impressive but it weighs 40kgs!! You could lift that in place on your own lol http://www.carthrottle.com/witchcraft-is-the-only-way-to-explain-nissans-incredible-400hp-1-5-litre-3-pot-engine/
  3. B turns separate to A. That's the bit that unscrews. Slide pliers are your friend. Or you Could always undo the bolt beside it and pull the whole speedo drive out together the you can get at it better.
  4. Great cars, drive well and very rare. I'd consider it if I'd sold all the bits from my breakers one! Bonus to not have the Super strut to deal with either being a bzv.
  5. Wrong forum? Lol You tried any is 200 or altezza ones directly?
  6. Fronts are a sealed unit I think. There's a seal on the inside that seats against the cv joint and possibly one on the outside as well so nothing to worry about
  7. Yeah pretty much. Think there's a slight difference but not much. Might be worth getting another set to clean them up anyway?
  8. You can just get the carriers. You don't actually need the callipers
  9. The 100ps engine is from the import ep80 and 85
  10. People are going to go against what I say but this is a c56 lsd box. Awaits people saying its a c52 because of the guide....
  11. Do it the way I did it with my 4age. Mount the 3sgte, put the ecu in the car dump the loom in place loosely plug in everything that can be, then work out whats left and splice it. Obvious ones in the bay Starter Fuel pump dome Battery Earths Inside dash to ecu speed Fuel pump Power Earths Prob some boost related things I didnt have. I've used starlet dash loom and still have the starlet fuse box in the bay just wired in the corresponding wires from the 4age loom into that fuse box Me and my mate had it running in 2 evenings. Once it was running I spent the next few evenings stri
  12. Starlet 500 all mods declared. Was 24 with 6yncb I think 2 sets of wheels, custom engine swap, interior, window tints etc etc Thats adrian flux My corolla was 375 with wheels and suspension 5yncb Admiral And my trueno at 25 was 700 all mods declared with 3 years mirrored ncb With sky
  13. I spoke to a guy earlier who bought a greddy exhaust and he was called by the duty officers asking for a invoice. Rather than risking not getting it, sent off a copy for proof of £340, package gets delivered with an invoice from rhdjapan for £70!! As you can imagine he was gutted. Stung nearly £100 on import tax! If only rhdjapan had sent him a copy of that invoice lol
  14. Its a good track. Well worth it on the 300 circuit, the 200 is a bit of a power track as its mainly high speed straights whereas the 300 has the technical inner part. Ill be doing a few sessions I imagine, good for testing mods and tweeks
  15. pair of recently refurbished Levin twin pots done a max of 4k miles. nearly new yellow stuff pads.
  16. saw you around 8pm turning into longwater business park coming from dereham A47. not sure if it was an N/A or a glanza. but deffo had a glanza rear and maybe a black bonnet?
  17. Standard starlet wheel bearing. Longer studs, just remove the studs from the old hubs
  18. I'm not sure of the change over dates but quite possibly yes. There's 3 different sizes I've seen. Typicalt are 238mm most n/a's and some early gt's 256mm later gt's and glanza, some late n/a's are also rumoured to have these. Solid front discs (not sure of size) no caliper carrier so caliper bolts directly to the hub. Would possibly need to convert hub to upgrade brakes.
  19. Get glanza/later gt calipers and carriers. 256mm Yellow stuff pads, mintex 1155's, ferrodo Dd2500's budget allowing. Wms heavy duty discs 110%, 256mm Dot 5.1 fluid or motul RPF600 fluid. And bleed all the old stuff out. Master cylinder stopper (not a crappy tegiwa one though) Braided lines The last 2 are optional but you could do the whole lot in one go. This will be plenty for an n/a for road use and even light track work. Lots of track days you will want a setup with thicker discs which means Celica or Levin calipers and different discs etc
  20. Levin twinpots as fitted to the superstruts Ae111's bolt to starlet hubs so these will also bolt up. However getting the spacing on the discs 'might' be an issue. The talk about the Sss hubs is a load of balony you will never make the Sss hubs fit a startlet as they are of a multi link design. trust me I've got a set in bits! I would hazzard a guess that you would need to either space the caliper back or the disc forward to get these to fit (or both) with a not Toyota disc (fiat coupe turbo as mentioned) plus 16" wheels
  21. wiki section with brouchers. this should help a fair bit. have a look through them http://www.ukstarletowners.com/page/articles.html/_/jdm-scans/
  22. k-sport, WMS, and yes you can get D2 brakes me WMS with DS2500. really good setup. need to rebleed and could do with grooved discs to stop them squeaking but they are fantastic when abused!
  23. 24 front - 22 rear. light cars so can get away with less pressure. does depend on tyres and wall stiffness etc. mine were reccommended by a ex lotus geo specialist when i got the car setup and seem pretty good. im on 195/50/15's though
  24. You would need the drive gear and the dogged gear (freewheeling gear for each) expect to be paying £200 for each of the freewheeling gears and another 150 for the drive gears. 2nd gear alone was 275ish when I looked at rebuilding mine. If I were you I'd get a couple of scrapped boxes and find good bits from each. That's what I did and now have a perfect c56 for the total cost of gearbox oil.
