Tbf the gt/glanza was never designed to go head to head with civics from factory, that was the corolla's main target Gt's Swift gti's Mk2 golf gti's Ax gt's Carade gtti Renault 5gtt Glanza 106 gti Saxo vts Mk4 golf gti's Whilst Civic sir / vti / type R Corolla levin/trueno 20v Mitsi mirage cyborg R Nissan pulsar vzr neo vvl Etc etc

Civic is cheap reliable fun. Handle well out the box can make very good track weapons with very few mods Starlets need an awful lot of suspension mods, brake upgrades and power mods to make them as good on track. Just look at japfest. civics, integras and accord type R's were all munching up the corners and holding there own. Only things that were going quicker were some mental Rg evo that crazy loon in the colt gti and the Pro R scoob. But even one the the more track look eg's was giving that Pro R scoob a bit of a run. I didnt see any starlets looking as quick in the corners unfortunately. Imo unless you are actually entering race events though i dont know why you are bothered. Do you have fun driving your car hard and fast? Thats all that should matter. If i wanted to get from a to b as quick as possible id have a Gtr lol

Haha yeah i gave it the sleeper treatment on friday (stickers and wheels) I would have left it up but was too windy, meant to bring a bungee strap with me to hold the bonnet on support but couldnt find one Dont worry will be at japfest 2 and will do it then ;)

Sell it cheap to one of the n/a guys as a cheap upgrade. They wont be revving or abusing it anywhere near as much so will last ages lol Also u can have the outer edge skimmed to keep the step the same as before. I had that done to one of mine

Yeah 20mins session will be fine. Oil temp gauge if you want to keep your eye out but no need for a cooler imo. Tyres, you just drive within the limits of what you have. You might start to overheat t1r's or pradas if you drive very hard from the word go but unlikely as you wont know the track

M12 x 1.5 is toyota fitment. So as long as it states that it will be fine Theres also a good tip someones mentioned before for protecting the wheel nuts. Double up part of a carrier bag and put it over the nut before you put the socket on there and it will stop the socket from scratching the wheel nuts

Well my car blended in quite nicely at JF, some people didn't even click that it had a 20v under the bonnet Also made it there and back and only needed to put a cable tie on the exhaust because i kicked it once i arrived haha. Also got a picture message from someone who's sending me something new Cheeky bit of packaging lol What could it be??

Corolla, like a starlet but more spacious, comfy and just as fun. Done 30k in mine and only spent £250 on little bits like a cat back and a couple of bushes and a shock because i had it dumped for 3 years lol
