320miles is way more than 34.5 thats more like 40mpg. 270miles is high 30's. it might be a 42ltr tank but you couldnt use it all, prob still had 5-6 ltrs left

Erm sump guard might have to be a custom job, not many people rally these things, again maybe try dean at rw developments hes also a trader he might be able to help you out with that. I think mines on a pipe with a small filter on it, either an old fuel filter or some one way valve or a pulse reducer thing, and it goes behind the inlet and out of site a bit.
