  2. Not sure if a mate of mine Adam on here still has his for sale mate mk 1 with a td04 👍🏻
  3. Check for the code mate see what's going on 👍🏻 http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showwiki.php?title=EFI+self-diagnosis+system
  4. This makes more sense thankyou guys, I'm going to dig deeper with this, and I'm thinking possibly it might just be coming from turbo to downpipe area, as it's sounds like it's right at the front, as the decat was only changed a few months back! Thankyou for your input 👍🏻
  5. Bumping this up if anyone knows the howling noise 👍🏻
  6. If someone said to me a rare Classic old skool ep82 I would expect to see a mk 1 and IF it is a mark 1 where's the RARE GT glow badge 👍🏻
  7. All you need really mate is the bung welded in and the sensor plugged in the rest you could do yourself, although that cable which clips in the back of the aem wideband is bloody long so you will need to wrap it together with cable ties or something under your dash 👍🏻
  8. https://youtu.be/qPKJJ3eS2nA This is a close as I can find at the moment after the second Rev you can hear the howling noise bear in mind though mine goes after probably a minute or 2 👍🏻
  9. Thanks for the reply Adam, the alternator belt was tightened a few months back as it was squilling (however you spell it) on start up, but now because it got tensioned right it's all fine even on cold start up, I've had this a while now, maybe a month or so, if I start the car up on cold and leave it idle you can't hear it, if I start the car up on cold and drive off straight away, you can hear it will see if I can find a link as other cars must do it too thanks mate
  10. This is a weird one guys and girls so I was just wondering please has anyone else had this. Ok we all know it's cold at the moment, but when I finish work around 8/9pm and the temp has dropped more, as I pull away up the road, as the revs go up, I get what I can only describe as a howling noise like an owl, howling as the revs go up, after a few minutes as the car warms up the sound goes and not to be heard again once the cars warm. Turbo has been refurbished from Liam D and has done a max 12,000 miles, I can only think there is a boost leak somewhere. Would like some opinions please guy

  12. That's strange mate no one local to you will do it, all they have to do is drill a hole put bung in and weld around the bung, (I'm thinking they can't be bothered to do it mate) although the bung needs to go in a certain place at a certain angle too Sefton 👍🏻
  13. Flipping hell 747 posts then goes and scams.....savage Colin mate
  14. That I didn't know mate 👍🏻
  15. Yeah In runner 3 morgey mate a bloody big restriction too 👍🏻
  16. 60 quid is a bit harsh for mk2 clocks, mk1 clocks are definitely different so don't go for them if some come up although I do like the mk1 clocks
  17. Hope you pop over again Steve come summer time in this bad ass again 👍🏻
  18. It's a good idea thankyou mate triple, no disrespect here I just feel the smoke way would be the best way and easier for me anyway, apparently they use like a "white mineral oil" liquid so that's why I thought put that in the smoke machine then wait to it heats up then spray it down one of the vac holes
  19. I knew what you meant dean anyway 👍🏻 l Dunno mate mine must be worth £200 haha
  20. I seen that morgey haha I did suggest that before but now I'm not so sure, as would need to go round the whole air system plus fmic too just trying to get some ideas together 👍🏻
  21. Also I do have a smoke machine aswell, but need to find the right liquid/fluid which will not effect the engine when sprayed into it to check for leaks 👍🏻
  22. Hello guys this may sound stupid, has at anyone ever had a smoke down test on any of there cars to check for vac leaks, (I'm sure I got a little one somewhere) and I don't really want to pay out 700 odd quid for the machine, I suppose I'm asking what sort of garages do this type of thing as I been searching the net and can't seem to find why category this would come under, any info would be a great help please guys, and also for peace of mind, due to work commitments at the moment I seriously don't have time to start taking pipes off etc. a quick test should see what's what, thanks lads Pat
  23. Why do I feel now this post is going down like a lead turd 😜😜
