  1. I believe this is an electrical thing aswell, my water temp gauge in the cluster (mk 2 GT) likes to sometimes bounce up and down, but my water temp gauge I done myself reads well and doesn't move stays with the temps etc
  2. Thanks mate, this was about weather it was worth doing or not on a ct9 set up seems like it is
  3. Think you can just get the tint of eBay mate like headlight tint or window tint in different colours That's a good tip thanks trisk 👍🏻

  5. Once again guys I'm back trying to find advice on this ecu, Anyway I finally have an emanage blue now, ready to be mapped of course, something's actually stopping me though as in two minds here, and this is the advice please I need guys do I or don't I? So not looking for big power I have no intention at this moment of time, of changing the turbo set up, currently running the stock ct9 turbo, have the usual mods fmic, aftermarket mani, decat, exhaust, air filter relocation, ht leads, blah blah blah you know the usual stuff, also have a sard fpr and wideband fitted as well as gauges including
  6. Mines actually in good nick trisk, I just wanted to make it blue, I more thinking where would you get that excact cut out for the green GT, bit, I'm thinking rub the whole lot down so you have just clear plastic, Get the measurements for the GT logo, (as a sticker) stick the badge on the plastic spray black around it, take sticker off, Then put a blue tint over the now clear GT bit If this makes sense 👍🏻
  7. Do you remember what leds please roach as I'm interested in doing this too 👍🏻

  10. As in the bulbs mate? When you say recon please describe it alittle better :-)
  11. 11/12mm breather filter is what you want 👍🏻
  12. Just for peace of mind Tim please ask him what size bearings your need that's all just ask do I need 1,2 or 3 😃 because when I rang up toyota and asked for bearings awhile ago they asked me which size
  13. So if the crankshaft has just been polished and wash then of course it's still at standard size, now the question is what size bearings are going in, remember Toyota have 3 different sizes.
  14. Thankyou mate that's the answer I was looking for much appericated 👍🏻
  15. I know exactly where Colin's coming from here, his not saying it's gonna happen to you mate, but I took mine to a well known engineers round my way, he write the measurements all down on paper only to give me all the sizes at 40mm that was the bearings bit, he just rounded them off to the nearest thousand, couldn't believe it, it was only Colin who made me realise this was wrong, like I said you know the person etc, so that's good, it's just a precaution thing to get all the exact measurements and put them on here 👍🏻
  16. Also weather has got so much colder lately
  17. That goes back to my question above ages ago is semi thicker or is fully thicker?
  18. Tim has the measurements been done mate etc, all within tolerances this will be a waste of time if not mate, what bearings did you use aswell 👍🏻
  19. If your talking a Kent meet near the sussex border I would be up for this and hoping some of the other starlets in sussex would be too 👍🏻
