  1. £160 for a fuel tank seems bloody cheap new from Toyota if that was the going rate new I would even be very surprised 👍🏻
  2. Much appericated mate 👍🏻
  3. Keep us posted mate would like to see the outcome of all this
  4. That's good to know thanks for the message aswell but not so sure the 1989-1996 ones will
  5. Just wondering please if any of you guys know would these wind deflectors actually fit an ep82 GT I'm guessing they do but you never know with this eBay stuff, link below. Thanks Pat https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281934847335
  6. I'm going to follow this topic as something is definitely not right of course, they have obviously made it worse
  7. I'm wondering for the oil pump, did they use an o ring? Did they actually seal it correct like the pic below? A lot of mechanics won't know the difference between an ep82 oil pump and an ep91 oil pump, I reckon they definitely messed up there
  8. I like that car looks very old skool but kept neat and tidy 👍🏻
  9. Thankyou Gorgan mate had a few people say that too thankyou 👍🏻
  10. Oh I'm not now Ollie thankyou so much mate just being an idiot as this part of starlets is very new to me 👍🏻
  11. I'm going to have a look guys thankyou I can't at the moment as my cars in paint trouble is people say different things when surely it should be a case of plug harnesses in run 3 bar map sensor from ecu through firewall and then that's the bit where to put the sensor too as looks like a hose has to come of the sensor and then to......? That's the bit I'm stuck on
  12. Now this is getting confusing, ok I have the harness to plug into the original ecu and the emanage blue, so that's sorted, looked like I need to find a spare vac port on the back of the inlet manifold I presume?, this is the ecu I brought of a member on here link below http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/101129-lower-price-greddy-e-manage-blue-field-harness-3-bar-map-sensor/?fromsearch=1
  13. Thankyou mate for the link will have a read when I get time, I do have the harness so there be no hardwiring, I'm just wondering why it would be £100 when its all just plugging it in
  14. Have you got any pics or diagram please gorgan am quite new to the ecu stuff, have rang one mapper and they said £100 to fit it, that's abit steep, can't get up to TD due to time and money, so need to stick local in south east, so would rather get it all in myself drive to mappers then attach everything just before I get there
  15. Thankyou Dan mate just trying to save a little money and fitting it all myself just before mapping, I'm guessing I will need a t-piece then as my boost hose from the gauge goes in that port too
  16. Finally got the ecu of another member on here, getting ready to book it into to be mapped very soon, I just have one question please guys, the 3 bar map sensor goes from the unit of course then mounted into the engine bay, a hose comes off the sensor bit, but then where does the hose go to please, I'm guessing the hole behind the inlet manifold but in not sure, can anyone confirm this please. Thanks Pat
  17. Yes correct above mate, also have to done all your measurements as to what bearings you need etc,
  18. I'm glad I was on the right lines glad you sorted it mate 👍🏻
  19. I would also definitely check for blocked lines coming from the throttle body 👍🏻
  20. Thankyou for the tip mate I'm presuming you just have a non adjustable actuator on then open the manual boost controller until you get the boost you want if that's right me saying that please quote me in I'm wrong
  21. Can I ask please how did you get on with that manual boost controller?
  22. That's what I'm worried about andy weather it goes smoothly or not if things did need changing I won't beable to afford it and it would mean having to go back up there again another date
  23. Hahaha I didn't know what else to say mate I was suppose to come and see you wasn't I but not sure what happened there, being all the way in sussex you really don't get many starlet owners down here.
