Thanks for the write up roach much appericated, little update, after we welded up the blow bit where it was cracked it went back to the mot and they still failed it on lambda emissions, as everyone knows you need to get between 97 and 103, I got 104 dam it, originally it was on 1.12 before the weld and then once that crack was done went to 104, Anyway thought sod this and just put a universal sports cat on (welded in) back to the mot and straight through it went, co levels were very low, hc levels very low, and no problem with the lambda one, although it's a sports cat I'm still thinking the car has now been restricted alittle bit
