Whenever I have sold second hand parts always do them cheap I totally agree with this topic lots just rip people off but someone will always pay it, as you say wind deflectors still go for 50 quid used, I got a good pair for 20 quid once, there are a few on here I have brought things off very cheap and they are in fantastic condition and that's how it should be, And as mentioned above especially on Facebook people who put OFFERS that bloody annoys me the most, but it even annoys them more when I say something like a tenner or 20 quid well they did say offers and I gave them an offer 👍

Was suppose to be at JAE with justjap but was too busy sorting my gt engine out 👍
-
At the moment I am sorted lads but thankyou very much 👍
-
Yeah it's a fair point mate I know what you mean was just asking for opinions on it 👍
-
I know what your saying mate and I totally agree with you I suppose the moral of this topic was it recommends you change the acl bearings at 25k but with the oem bearings what come in starlets to begin with are still running fine on the cars after like 90k miles and they have upped the boost etc
-
Pmed back mate I will have them 👍 Got a head gasket now just incase anyone replies with that thanks
-
Hello lads need the following if anyone has got some good ones, cash waiting Good condition crank which doesn't need a regrind Good condition rods in perfect working order, no bends etc And a head gasket if anyone's got one laying around they didn't use, all for my gt turbo Thanks pat 👍

Yes please link me aswell 👍
-
Thinking the same Mikey 👍

I was just thinking though Adam mate 25k is not a lot of mileage then having to get the crank out which means stripping the engine again to change all the bearings I take it? I'm just wondering how much Bhp is safe on oem bearings rather then acl?
-
Well of course there is as no one seems to reply 👍

Thanks Phil mate before I put my engine back in gonna change back over to oem bearings 👍
-
Does it have to be dipped in that stuff?
-
No it's fine mate will go to toyota they seem to be a lot better then these acl bearings
-
Just been on id-workz mate and can't find the oem bearings on there only acl
-
Great replys thankyou everyone I'm glad now some of you have said oem are better and your running much bigger power then me it's the answer I am looking for so while my engines out gonna put oem back in, I thought id-workz only sold the acl ones? As you don't seem to see the oem ones online anywhere or is there a site for them?
-
It's ok not to worry will get another set soon 👍
-
If says 25,000 miles mate where as surly the toyota oem bearings will go for much longer, acl bearings obviously must be stronger hence why there good for forge engines? Devon mate I don't think they are oem bearings but am trying to find out myself so would be nice to know
-
25 quid is still 25 quid flipping hate people like this, if you sale something to someone you should keep them updated etc simply as that wise don't try and sale it 👍
-
Did you sell them indicators in the end funny onion? Did pm you on Facebook but never heard from you 👍
-
I'm just thinking though lads while my engines back out to put the oem ones in which of course I presume last a lot longer, I have no intention of going forge, I'm just trying to get opinions on this due to as you both say about the acl bearings, or someone to know for sure how much Bhp can the standard oem ones take?
-
I'm just wondering here why people like myself have acl bearings on standard internals when they recommend to change the acl bearings at 25,000 miles,? Which would mean stripping the engine again after a few years, but then don't really hear about the oem bearing set on forums, running 200bhp on standard internals with extra mods like fmic, fuel pump/fpr etc why would I need acl bearings and not just stick with standard oem bearings? Any advice here please?
