  1. Yea I'm surprised no one had done it before, had an eye on them for mine, but we needed something wide for this too, so they've gone on here. I think loads of people would of had them by now but none of the UK suppliers stock them it seems.
  2. Indeed! You'll have to pop by afterwork one evening!
  3. AD08's are more a road tyre than a track tyre so it won't be those. I was looking at the Federals but they don't do them in the sizes we want.. It's going to be either R888, A048R's or the Dunlop DZ03 but we'd then have to go down to a 215..
  4. So, the other day i decided to go and buy another Starlet. Got it as a little run around whilst the track car is being built with my brother. Got it for a pretty good price seeing as its an SR.. she is a little leggy with a fine 217k miles on, however its got years of Toyota history from day one. Engine runs sweet, however i wasn't going to expect a totally perfect car.. A few pics once home. First thing was to give it a good wash down, the paint looks fine in the pics, up close, its not great as its abit swirly, but a detail will get it all back. That'll be happening in a few weeks. The ole boy before decided at some point to fit some 'rally style' fog lights..the brackets clearly had to go Engine bay, needs a good tidy. Cant have a messy bay. The Classic noob error, needs to be swapped around The next hilarious find..One KYB SR special on the left...Standard on the right...Nice one ! As you can see from those pics its had some neglect underneath, a serious amount of mud a little rust, so that was the first thing i set about sorting. Make it clean underneath and mechanically. Then worry about everything else. One of the first pics starting to attack the rust. Thankfully its only surface, so started taking it back to the bare metal to re-coat Further progress, stripped, zinc primed, stone chipped and painted. A damn site better and will provide future protection. Got the one side done, will attack the other this weekend. Then onto the front, then engine bay! I would of liked to keep the SR stickers however they were so faded they had to go..Sorry guys. More updates after the weekend I'm guessing!
  5. Haha of course! Undecided, was looking at R888's as they do a 45 profile in a 225 but they go off quite quickly, so back to the drawing board at the mo on that front.
  6. They're not the same wheel, they are the 8.25 +0 offset, plus they don't ship to england lol!
  7. They were more than that seeing as no one in england supplies them as far as I'm aware? Where have you seen them for that price?
  8. Im surprised the condition its in tbh..its been let go a little but its not bad atal. Ill have to throw a thread up in the next few days..
  9. Brought an SR the other day, rocking a casual 220k miles, engines still sweet as a nut, got service history from day one.
  10. Taggy's cell had a walbro in it.
  11. Had to take one out the box...Look legendary..
  12. Yea back to the original question i have no idea, hook up a gauge inline is my suggestion.
  13. Loads of people do it.. Most serious drag cars run this setup. I always thought it was abit odd but it is done often.
  14. Damn you! Not 501, they are 530's. Don't think anyone has put them on an EP before? 8 should tuck on the front with camber and cruise fenders, there not a +0 offset, they are +20.. back might need a little work but that should be fine.
  15. 4e's arent unreliable, its just too many idiots get hold of them and cry when they try and double the power on a standard engine thats over 15years old lol. Either way, look forward to seeing what this is From the last post...3sgte?
  16. So the package came today...Last piece of the puzzle before some fabrication can start We were going to keep it 'JDM' and go for Enkei RPF1's, however we couldn't get them in an 8J fitment. 300+ bhp and anything under 8J isn't ideal. Who can guess what style we went for?
  17. There all made by Kamak aren't they ?
  18. Like Adam has basically covered id go with a re-worked GT(x)2871, imo you could get very close on a 2860 with a decent compression engine, built head and a competent ecu & mapper.
  19. Id 100 % run them on a BB / Rollerbearing turbos..id run them on journal bearing turbos too, however its not the end of the world if you don't.
  20. Managed to miss the delivery today haha Fail. Lets hope it comes tomorrow.
  21. Ed China is certainly not a Bellend and is very talented. If you knew anything about what he's made and the records he held you'd know that. I like the program but yes what they've done to the Rex is not good.
  22. Haha yea it has been abit quiet and boring so far.. It's just taken time to source some bits!
  23. Thats interesting to know you've used them too, I've always rated the quality of them!
  24. Should have a nice delivery by the end of the week then the fun can start!
  25. ^ I know people moan about the time frame with TD but i didn't think people had problems with engines letting go?
