Were they cheapo ones? My mate had the same problem..

TD's actually look like a walbro item anyways. I've never seen one fail, literally everyone with a modified starlet runs on. Could leave the standard one in there as a lift pump to a swirl pot, then use a Bosch 044 on that.

^ i wouldn't say that, after all toyota put charge coolers on rev3 -> GT4's..

What a little fucker. Happened to me, and having a place together makes it so much more of a ballbag. Shame to see it being broken as it looked to be one of the most interesting builds on here. Get yourself sorted and hopefully You'll be back

Repair it...it won't cost 500 quid if it just needs a rehone and rings! Wont cost a lot atal.

Like said, dog leg spanner to remove the turbo then its piss.

Need some eBay links.. Fuel braided lines & AN-6 help

Or buy goodridge/earls ones from merlinmotorsport etc. -
It'll be fine. Standard Ecu / fuelling is fine on a td04 upto .7bar. Stock pressure is. 2.4bar So technically you could lower it abit. It's worth having a wideband for moments like this

Agreed. They may thank you one day...sort of why i dont comment on everything anymore. sometimes best to keep your opinions to yourself so you dont get cut down.

Tial like said, and idrees is a blooming good trader to buy off to which makes it even better Turbosmart ones are a good alternative too. IMO, avoid the cheap ebay copies.

Split the housing first, then just a few decent little seams around it.

I found these a while ago. the welds actually seem pretty good compared to some shizz welding you see on others. -
I like these wheels too, probably would of gone for 15's tho. Unfortunately i think your going to need actual arch work, i don't think you'll be able to roll the rear arches far enough to clear them!

Im pretty sure its stamped in the bulkhead so youll see where it needs to go
-
Well they both sort of work the same way. you just attach the vacuum so the pressure rises with the engine revs.

Id be wary of the ebay stuff tbh, the cheaper ones leak. Well youll need a length of braid and fittings from the fuel filter to the rail, then from the pressure reg back to the return of the tank. I cant remember the treads and pitches of the standard rail off the top of my head. But yea an-6 should be fine.
