  1. Possible my favourite Starlet ever to be honest, older members will be familiar with this. Shame the company who's car it was went tit's up because there were mint in their prime!
  2. Nice one, can you also take a picture like picture 3 but showing the front of the alloy rather than the back? So I can see how curved the spokes are side on?
  3. I am a little interested in these, can you fire up pics of the damage please?
  4. Thought I should update this seen as everyone offered advice, I actually got the garage completed today! I blame Rob for it taking so long as he pointed me to detailing world and I saw all the nice garages on there so I made my mind up as to what I wanted to do and project garage begun. At the time of starting this thread the garage looked like this. I then decided on a white walls / blue floor theme and over the past 2 months I painted for an hour or so on an evening after work, a few days a week. The walls took a full 3 coats and I completed the floor edging today and now it looks like
  5. I picked one of these up for £88 delivered. They are legit.
  6. I run Toyo T1R 's on the winter wheels and PS2's on the summers. Both are more than capable if you drive to the road condition. Neither let the back loose when pushing it in the dry and you can always put enough power down if you control the throttle properly. I think the PS2's look aesthetically more pleasing, they look quite aggressive with the big cuts and everyone always asks why I have racing tyres on my car. To be honest all 3 will be fine if you drive them properly, people will always have different experiences I'd say give them all a try at some point see what suits your driving
  7. I have depos and they are not particular accurate, the boost gauge over reads pressure is slow to respond and often just goes mental. The water temp gauge I think is well off, I have a sard lo temp thermo fitted that opens at 68 degrees, you can tell when it opens as the bottom rad pipe heats up when it opens the water temp is already saying 85 even the stock water gauge can be in the lower quarter and the depo is saying 85. I have actually bought a second water gauge to test my theory of it being fucked but not had chance to test it out yet. They do look mint though hence me keeping them eve
  8. £620 and you haven't even said what tyres are on them! Good luck with that!
  9. 13 x 6.5 is the size of Jap plates.
  10. Ditch the square plate a get a proper import size plate, will just neaten up that front end perfectly.
  11. Just the standard bullshit that's in 90% of starlet sales ads, a real enthusiast knows what's what.
  12. How far down the dipstick is it? It shouldn't burn much oil especially if its been changed 4 months ago!
  13. Fire some pics up of said Type-R, I always fancy a swap the other way. Don't get me wrong Glanza's are great cars but I'm always a bit envious of more modern cars, the starlet can feel very dated at times and lacks any kind of refinement I find.
  14. Run a search its all been covered a thousand times.
  15. Emb is not a plug and play ecu, this thread doesn't apply to it at all.
  16. No plug and play. Some people will say let it idle for 30 minutes when you first put it in, I never did I wouldn't waste the fuel and I was fine, whip up the boost and go enjoy!
  17. You can take the whole cluster out so you don't fuck up the speedo dial and get to it from the back. Just take the bulb to a motor factors and tell them you want the same.
  18. I ended up sticking with the Japspeed system with the bung in lol, only cost £88 off ebay new so keep checking there if your after one!
  19. I dont think the back box would have fitted onto a Zigen system anywahy and it certainly wouldnt have been any louder. If you want loud get a Japspeed system off ebay.
  20. HP EliteBook 8560P comes with a serial port Best part of £1000 so might not be an option lol
  21. Dude, buy yourself a jack and set of tools and get cracking! No better way to learn and save money plus decat is a nice starter job, you can't go wrong really!
  22. Look for something along the lines of a DELL D5** or D6** series, both have serial ports! I normally hang onto a few of these when we get them in for scrap just for the serial ports. Check your local AD-Mag for them you can normally get them for pennies. If you need one more urgently go eBay: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3f2025da3e
