Who has told you MBC's don't work under 1bar? Total crap. They also don't spike and the don't need adjusting daily. I have been running one on my TD04 setup for years and previously on my first Glanza with a high flow CT9 setup. I get more stable boost with my MBC than I did with an electronic boost controller! Just fit the MBC, adjust it until your boosting 0.8 bar and off you go. If you start fuel cutting look at that as a separate issue.

Items For Sale: DEPO Racing Boost Gauge in White, DEPO Racing Water Temp Gauge in White, KET Gauge Boost Gauge (BAR) Item Condition & Description: Both DEPO Gauges are used but in perfect cosmetic condition. The KET Boost Gauge is brand new and unused. The DEPO gauges are a clear copy of Defi gauges and certainly look the part. They are not mechanically perfect hence sale. The water temp gauge reads +15 degrees as to what it should. So when cruising the gauge will read 95 degrees rather than 80 as it should, it may just need a new temp sensor, but I don't know. The boost gauge is spo

Glanza Shocks with RS-R Ti2000 Springs for Sale
DavidAshton posted a topic in Starlet Parts For Sale
Item For Sale: Glanza Shocks (front and rear) with RS-R Ti2000 Springs (front and rear) Item Condition & Description: 4 Standard Glanza shocks with RS-R Ti2000 spring. These are in a used condition. All shocks are fully working with no leaks, the dust covers down the centre of the shocks have seen better days. They come complete with RS-R Ti2000 springs (http://www.rs-r.co.jp/products/sus/ti2000/index.php) the paint has flaked off a lot of the spring so they don't look as great as they once did. They give a really nice ride and are well suited with the stock shocks. They also give a nic -

I got standard shocks with lowering springs if your interested?

There is a way to flash fault codes for abs, you need to bridge certain terminals in the diag port and count the dash flashes. Search here or tgtt I am sure you will find how to do it.

0.9 bar

If you run a higher pressure rad cap you are going to put higher pressures on a potentially old water system. Just consider that, these car's aren't as new as they once were. I run a 1.3 bar cap and certainly wouldn't risk going any higher than that.

I think a cheap Halfords style polisher will struggle to cut if at all so you may find it doesn't make any difference. It really depends how much you want to spend, how much effort you want to put in and the finish you want I guess. I think I got the blue tape off i4detailing.co.uk when I ordered some other bits but you can pick it up in any DIY shop like B&Q.

I would save yourself some time and hard work and get someone with a machine polisher to go over for you. This was the first time I ran a DA over my bonnet this was only a light pad with medium compound polish, you can see the section I hadn't done!

Anyone had issues with the TAIL fuse constantly blowing? That's on the internal fuse box. It takes out the dash cluster bulbs, rear bulbs, rear number plate bulbs and front sidelights. I have checked all visible wiring and can see no issues? As soon as I put a new fuse in it blows instantly. Any one had this particular issue before? If not any ideas to help pin point the issue? I have 7 new fuses left and want to sort it today as I can't drive at night now :-( My next step is going to be ripping the plastics out to see more of the loom......

TEIN's are well known for not lowering Starlet's. Seen it many a times. Some cheapo 40mm springs will see it lower than your current setup. Spax or PI used to be the brand a few years ago now, I image they are still around. Don't go cutting springs, you will probably end up in a ditch.

Where is our spot this year?

Make a boost leak tester, I have done this in the past and it worked a treat.
