  1. You don't need anything extra than what you already have. The factory brackets accept a double din unit. Just remove your single din and blanking plate and attach the brackets to the double din unit. Sorted.
  2. I have one of the odb1 Bluetooth units on its way over from Canada. My overall plan is to run a Android based double din head unit with the app so I can have some real-time display on the head unit, think it will look pretty awesome!
  3. Air vs Metal, go figure. Also have you ever felt how much pressure 1 bar actually is? I think my kitchen tap has more pressure, I would be surprised if it was even enough to slow the turbo down. I have ran ct9 / td04 setups for 6 years plus now with no dump valve and no issues at all.
  4. Keep it sleeper'ish Can hardly even see my fmic here: Also im not a foglight wanker, it was just going in for MOT and tester decided to switch all the lights on.
  5. Volks CN28 reps if your interested?
  6. How much coolant do you have in the tank when cold? You need to have it just above minimum so when the system heats and expands the coolant has somewhere to go, it is an overflow tank not a feed or anything. I have seen people think it needs to be kept at the full level so as soon as the system pressures and coolant goes into the overflow it spill out of the top.
  7. They look like DGR coilovers? The top bolt hole on the lower strut where it meets the hub is elongated so you can set camber from there. If you put too much on the bottom you can dial it out from the top of the strut. Mine is same, looks like I have a ton of positive camber when actually I don't. Cool car.

  9. Wow, must be some well serviced auto's on here...........
  10. Sounds like my K1 when it shat itself. I found high flow CT9 to be more fun anyway. I'd cut your losses and sell it on, think I managed to get £250 for mine broken. I do remember the dude who got it fixed saying it was more than just seals and needed a load of extra work.
  11. Just paid, please add me to the list. On track at 12:10 too, should be a cracking day.
  12. Just be careful you get the right one. The spline count is totally random and you need to make sure you get on with an ABS ring if you still have ABS.
  13. CV Joint. Did mine a few months ago after 2 years of it knocking on and off.
  14. Few things I said / did when I disputed the first offer on my car were: Sent them pictures of my car looking immaculate that had been taken on a proper camera, condition was 100% perfect and told them it would be impossible to find another in that condition. Explained the car had optional extra's only available from factory and thus would be difficult to get on another car and increased value of my car. Explained I was first owner from import and again would be difficult to get a fresh import at a low value. Explain that the nearest like for like car was over 100 miles away. Sent adverts o
  15. Ouch, get a feedback thread up in their section on here, shame you only really find out how good your insurance company is when you crash! When I had my incident my insurance company were superb, I had a coursty car within hours, kept updated at every stage, sorted me physio and I got a settlement I was more than happy with. I actually stayed with my insurer even though there were cheaper option because I know it's a really good service.
  16. You need a new insurance company.
  17. £650 is a total joke, don't accept that. I got payed out £3700 when mine got wrote off. £3000 if I kept the car, which I did.
  18. Picked up an auto n/a and want to give it a full service. What is the crack with the auto box, never had any experience with an auto so don't even know where to begin? I have literally looked under bonnet for 2 seconds and seen a dipstick coming from it, didn't even touch it. What is this for, what am I measuring and how often should it be checked.? Is it just a case of draining fluid and refilling for auto boxes? If so on what schedule? what fluid? where does it drain from and where does fresh stuff go? Just out of interest does the Glanza use the same autobox? as far as I
  19. I changed my outer CV joint today, the whole joint though not just the boot. To be honest it was much easier than I thought. I had no trouble at all and it's the first time I had done anything around this area on the car before. Biggest pain was taking it all apart last week just to find out the spline count and the having to put the broken joint back on. Click free going round corners now, winner!
  20. I tried, they don't fit a normal starlet filter cup so I never bothered.
  21. It will be the RADIO fuse in the internal fuse box under steering wheel.
