  1. Can someone bash up the postcode for the place?
  2. Yes. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain! Again!
  3. This is true. ZEP rails fit the early Recaro style seats. I tried mine againt some Evo 6 seats with no joy. Maybe its the ZEP Bride rails that fit the later Evo seats?
  4. Evo 4 Recaro's flick forward. You can see the top clip to release them on the picture of mine here.
  5. Glad you got it sorted. It may be worth fitting a new actuator just incase this happens again and you dont notice! I have also known the turbo - cat gasket get in the way of the wastegate flap so just take note when re fitting after porting your wastegate.
  6. Looks to me like your getting unlimited boost! Which would sugest the actuator arm is not opening the wastegate it at all. Can you manually move the arm to open the wastegate? If all the above moves freely you could have an issue with the vac pipes between the turbo and whatever boost controller you are using. Firstly check all vac lines are all still there and connected, check each pipe fully for splits or even burns. Let us know what you find. Also what are you using to control boost and how is it plumbed in?
  7. I have heard that before but I am yet to see a car without it, I am sure it was a standard feature? If you check the 98 spec brochure in the Wiki section it is pictured with various other standard features.
  8. Your car has remote central locking from factory, you just need to purchase a keyfob from Toyota and program it to your car. These are the instuctions and part number from a thread on TGTT I finally ordered a new remote fob for my glanza, went and picked it up today. And lone behold the instructions to prgramme the fob, from the japanese site i found do work. The translation from japanese to english using an online translator do not come out very clear. So here is the procedure: Unlock the car. Climb in and close the door. Insert the key into the ignition barrel, turn the ignition ON-OFF 3
  9. Chin up, 4 weeks to find a job and at least they had the decency to give you some notice. Last time I was made redundant it was there and then, last months pay on a cheque and it bounced so was royally fucked!
  10. Ahhhh right, I thought people wanted them for the looks, not the genuine OEM status How would you ever re-attach a used badge though?
  11. Me too, can't fault them. May be able to get them cheaper aswell the ones linked above are first link I found.
  12. Found one on ebay pretty much instantly: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3a72162f06 Personally if I were ever to want a gold badge I'd just get a brand new silver one and spray it gold, that way it will stick straight away with the factory sticky backing and let's be honest if anyone actually notices it they won't know its a DIY jobby!
  13. HID's are bad, hated mine they are way too bright and look well out of place on such an old car imo. Every dick in their Corsa's has them around here, dont want my car ever being associated with that. If you want a good quality bulb that give a very good light spread and is bright enough without blinding anyone check these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PHILIPS-H4-X-TREME-POWER-HEADLIGHT-BULBS-CITROEN-AX-GTi-/310304200778?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item483f92584a
  14. You need to post a picture of how you have it setup. It could be anything but a picture will help us work out where you are going wrong.
  15. I'll come if there is some kind of miricle and it stops raining!
  16. Wow big decision made right there, respect to you, I would have personally abused the CT9 setup a little more after spunking all that on mapping etc. Tuning Developments map again when the TD04 is on? Are you attending the Nottingham meet at the weeked if your new kit arrives in time?
  17. Yikes didnt you just get it mapped on the CT9? Are you going to have to pay for another mapping session now?
  18. Made no difference at all on my temp gauge when I fitted a civic rad, people switch to civic rad for the extra clearance when running bigger turbo kits. I also fitted my standard rad back as I didn't like the bodged fitment of the Civic rad.
  19. I don't really have an opinion on the mebership front I'd probably end up paying it even though I tend to lurk more than I post. But, working in I.T I'd say make sure you are getting the best deal possible in regards to your VPS, hosting etc. £600 over the last few months seems mega steep for a VPS / forum update / hosting package. Everyone is jumping on the Cloud / VPS bandwagon atm, there are some good deals out there to be had. Also has anyone thought about advertising? Like having people pay to advertise on here. A lot of car forums I use do this and do it well in a none intrusive way. I
  20. Had word back, Rota do offer a 12 month warrenty on the paint finish of the wheels so that has unfortunatly expired now. Rare Rims will take a look though and see what rota say, they want some pics etc, ill PM you now regarding it to save spamming your thread.
  21. Just checked through my emails and it was 4th March when I purchased them so they may be just out of any warrenty. Either way I have emailed Julian at Rare Rims who I got them off to see what crack is and if they can repair them or anything. I will let you know when he gets back to me.
