  1. Same thing happened to mine recently. Is it the HM3's I sold you? They may still be under some kind of warrenty i can check that out for you? Anyway as I'm buying a house at the moment I'm not spending on a refurb so i patched them up with some of this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VHT-SP450-RED-ANODIZED-FINISH-COLOR-COAT-PAINT-/380424913712?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5893178330 Its by no means looks perfect but at first glance and at a distance you dont notice the missing paint. On closer inpection you can tell though but it looks way better than having a big silver patch.
  2. Some of the pics aren't technically correct. Do you know? Looks mint though, love the layout / vibe of your wiki entries.
  3. You put new ignition leads on and the engine starts stalling. I think you have ansered your own question!
  4. Interesting, first TD map I've seen go pop, although it could be nothing to do with the map. Glad I asked them to keep mine nice and safe though now.
  5. Here is a few I snapped....
  6. Yeah I think you shown me where it was earlier in thread.
  7. Ok cool I dont mind I'm minutes away but I know other won't be. @John Had mine remapped on rolling road back end of December and not changed anything since so no need at moment.
  8. Is this still starting at 9 even though only 8 are running?
  9. I tend not to bother with shows so I doubt I will be at any. Thanks for the cotton bud idea was only cleaning it again yesterday and thought how am i going to clean in the gaps without removing the badge and getting a new one. It's mint having a car that you don't need mess with. I've never had so much spare cash!
  10. Just to keep this up to date: I think October sometime last year went to Tuning Develpments RR Day was a good chace to see exactly what power the car was running. Didnt even make 185 bhp! Was a bit gutted to say the least. This map was done by k-tec racing, i think they need to stick to Renaults! The car was more than setup to run more power and Tuning Developments left a great impression after my visit for the rolling road day so i booked it in for a remap with them! The remp was done sometime in December. Nick at work. I asked for a safe map at 1 bar running and power above 200 bhp and this is exactly what i got. Transformed the car. So pleased with it after this, boost came on quicker and stronger and pulls like a train now. Also at somepoint in December it got reversed in to. Luckly minimal damage and I took it straight through third partys insurance to be fixed by main dealer Toyota in Doncaster. The full front bumper was resprayed repairing some slight damage the car had on the lip when i first got it I also managed to get a new headlight as part of the work, id changed the passengers side a few months before so now I have two brand new headlights and it is looking very clean. Been keeping it clean with some proper japanese wax! Addded a cheeky japanese decal to the back screen. And here is a pic of how it stands as of last week I have also serviced it again without blowing oil all over it. No plans for it at all now just keep it as it is and keep enjoying it.
  11. Oh dear, this thread makes me wish I didn't own a Starlet.
  12. Ive done a Ferrari experience at Silverstone and loved it. Tbh whatever car you choose you will love it.
  13. Snap, let me know how you get on with it!
  14. Dammmn can't make this Sunday. Not long till the rolling road day though now are most going to be attending that anyway?
  15. Does this have a rear arb fitted, if not maybe worth looking at as it will keep the rear end under control during harsh braking. Wheels wise I think white on white looks mega on the 98 spec's and with the right set it keeps that OEM look.
  16. Will be a custom jobby for sure.
  17. If it started happening after you got the belts done that kinda ponits to the problem! Are you certain the timing is bang on? Also you can run these cars without a lambda sensor, disconnect it and see what it does?
  18. Wire it off your fag lighter loom, there are 2 wires so you cant fuck up, the red one is the live. Its a switch ignition too so it wont stay on.
  19. Found another
  20. Needs front lip and centre plate imo.
  21. Maybe worth bashing time and post code in first post now make it official and help any first timers?
  22. All turbo's pass a bit of oil through the charge side over time. If its a thin film of oil dont worry about it, if its spewing oil out do what jezza says.
  23. Phew!!! Although I have no ideas now lol.
  24. What turbo setup are you running. Sounds like you may have indirectly welded the waste gate shut on a internal waste gate setup?
