  1. Epic episode one of my favourite's for sure. Think it's defo been back on the game this season.
  2. That guide is a load of shit. Each car is different, start at low boost and gradually increase the boost pressure a few turn at a time on the actuator to get to the desired level.
  3. I used some kind of epoxy resin to bond mine together when it kept popping off.
  4. I would also like to know, can you not just post what we need to do?
  5. Yeah that sounds like me, I was heading back to work that way about 4:30 pm, didn't spot any other Starlet's though, where were you?
  6. Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated. As much as I liked my old car this one is in a different league, proper love it. Mega respect to DaveEP91 (who is actually called Mike lol, meant to ask what was with the username?) for taking this car from stock to what it is now and looking after it so well along the way, I plan to continue that and make it my own. Thanks for the spec list too. Im fully sold on the Auto X's, just not feeling the HM3's on this one, already had a few PM's about them so I they may be gone before I even have chance to put them up for sale. This weeked got my Evo 4 Recaro's to fit, new number plates, some new gauges, short shifter and JAM gear knob, my DVD player, my pedal covers and my Cusco BMCS if I get round to it. Will update then.
  7. Some of you may know last month this happened to my old Glanza, just coming upto 3 years of ownership, was truely gutted! Luckly it wasn't my fault so a nice payout followed! Only £50 less than I payed for the car 3 years ago was offered! Initially the idea was to get a fresh import and I was in talks with Enzo about getting one sourced, then this came up for sale! Only problem being the car was in Bournemouth and I was up north in Rotherham, anyway more pics were sent and I knew this was the one. Pics of it before I got it: Spec is pretty much TD04 with eManage Blue and all supporting mods (I would copy the spec list from the for sale thread but its gone?), so put a deposit on it, took a 5 hour train ride and a 5 hour drive back home to get it. Got the spec list now: Toad Sterling Thatcham Category 1 Alarm/Immobilizer Kenwood DPX-313Y CD Player w/ Bluetooth Kit Vibe 6x9 Speakers 6k HID Lighting Kit RS*R Performance Spring Kit Rota Auto X 15Wheels w/ Yokohama Parada Spec II Tyres 5zigen A Spec+ Exhaust System Jperformance Front Mounted Intercooler Front Strut Brace Greddy Rear Strut Brace K&N Air Filter Forge Motorsport Blow Off Valve HKS Turbo Timer Apexi Boost Gauge TD04L Turbo Mild Steel Manifold & Downpipe Braided Water & Oil Lines Magnecor KV85 Ignition Leads eManage Blue ECU 255LPH Fuel Pump SARD Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator Helix AutoSports Ceramic Performance Clutch Black Diamond Performance Discs Black Diamond Performance Pads HEL Braided Brake Lines w/ Toyota Dot 5.1 Brake Fluid Slight emergency on the way home, the satnav goes dead and I dont have a clue where the hell I am or where I am going, phone is also dead, I have chargers for them both but the fag lighter isn't working. This had happened before in my silver one so i knew exactly what to check and thank fuck I was right, the plug for the fag lighter loom wasn't plugged in so a quick emergency repair and I was back on the way. No way I would have done the 239 miles left with no satnav! Service station photo on way home Now this car really is immaculate, the bodywork is perfect, not a single scratch or dent on it, Mike who owned it kept a full history of everything that had been done with all reciepts and it drive so nice! I used to be a massive CT9 fan but to be fair TD04 is where its at. The difference in power delivery is immense, this car is only mapped to 0.8 bar and its so much quicker than my last car which was running 194 bhp, im thinking this is easily pushin 210 bhp. It feels so much tighter and fresh and off boost it drives so nice aswell. Anyway home safe and sound Removed the rear stickers, decided im keeping this one sticker free unlike my last one! Then I went to fit my Rota HM3 advan copies which I took off the old car, actually prefered the Auto X's which i'd never been a fan of so the HM3's stayed off. Opinions? That's it so far. I have on order some new number plates without the blue GB bit down the side, a new starlet decal thats missing from the rear too. Fuck me stock seats are so uncomfy dont no how people drive with them anymore after having the recaro seat in the silver one. Luckly I picked up some Evo 4 Recaro's, I have the rail from the silver car for the drivers side and have a passenger side rail in the post so they will be fitted this weekend. I also have some new gauges I bought for the silver car but crash happened before I got chance to fit them so they are going in this. TRD short shifter, Rear arb for silver car are also going on this. The exhaust is also going to be altered so it fits the recess in the rear bumper correctly. I imagine that will be it for a while. I may look to get it mapped to a bar in future with my EBC from the silver car but im just going to enjoy it as it is for now!
  8. Went to have a look at these today and they are in top condition, didnt fit my Recaro rails unfortunately. Luckly Rick had a cheeky set of Evo4 Recaro's in the loft which he kindly got down, fitted the rail perfectly. Top bloke, much appreciated.
  9. Lets sort something out, I get my replacement starbo at weekend so anytime after that is good.
  10. Im in the process of doing the same sort of. Fill this in and send the tax disk and yellow slip: http://www.direct.gov.uk/prod_consum_dg/gr...t/dg_065248.pdf
  11. Minta day, plenty of banter and fun was had. Shame I had no Starbo but there is always next time.
  12. How does it compare to when you had the ct9 mapped to a bar?
  13. Ill be meeting you guys in my Corsa lol, unless Giggz fancys giving me a lift?
  14. I'm still going to have my courtesy car so I will still be coming and meeting at J27.
  15. Socket Gun will get it off, if you dont have one nip to your local garage and ask them to gun them off.
  16. Speak to Julian at rarerims, that's where I got mine from in 15".
  17. How did that happen? Good job you were in a Corsa and not a Starlet.
  18. CAT C write off, wank. Trying to sort out a decent price from insurers now.
  19. After an oil change mine used to use half a litre in a week, top it up and it would be fine after that. It always ran fine though although it was a high miler on 193k km.
  20. Wepr kit designed for a wepr exhaust, all the older wepr kits were like this. Did the seller not state?
  21. Well the assessor came out yesterday and did what he needed to do. He said he doesn't think it will be seeing the road again. The final decision doest lie with him, he just makes the report and sends it to my insurers who then make the final decision. Its looking very much like a write off now. Anyone had any experience with write off's? Im guessing its going to be a ball ache getting them to pay out a decent ammount for it?
  22. Thanks for the positive comments guys. It's DDay tomorrow, they are coming to assess it in the afternoon. Im so hoping they repair it now as I cant see a single Glanza that I could happly replace it with, well except one but that's all and its probably sold knowing my luck. Will update with the outcome when I get it.
  23. Yeah my car won't be running in this, it will either be wrote off or in for repairs. Fully gutted, will still try and attend though.
  24. As above this did get involved in a crash. Someone pulled out on me and I had no choice but to bin it into them, didnt really have chance to even brake. This is just after it happened, you can see the debris behind the car where we hit! Didn't look too bad till I got it home a whipped the bumper off Other party accepted responsibilty so just waiting for assor to come take a look at it. Fingers crossed they repair it! Ive also whipped most bits i can off it incase they write it off so they could go onto a new starbo.
  25. Press 'options' towards the top right just above the 'Post #1' and change it to standard, your on outline view.
