  1. Yours is on standard shocks, mine was on trd but is now on standards pretty much. Going to see if i can drop on some rear coilovers.
  2. Yeah yours is on PI springs, yeah the rear is higher than the front but my rear is way higher than the red one was one the same spring / shock combo.
  3. Sorry i meant my V has an adjustable aftermarket one, my n/a had whatever the factory gave it. Thanks aswell Rick, guess ill have to look at some other way of getting it lower.
  4. Superglue sounds a grand idea, on that one. Just have to make sure i dont get the shit that melts stuff together. Thanks a lot
  5. Everytime i touch my intercooler it develops leaks, spent the last two days endlessly trying to stop them with no luck. Ive swapped my autobahn hotside pipwork for hdi, there are only 2 silicone tubes now on the hotside that ive altered so it must be them but i cant get them to shut up, ive used t bolts and jubilee clips, tried every different combination i can think of, one has 6 clips on it and there is still a noise. All the silicone is tight to the pipes, no signs of leaks, tried fairy liquid, it just bubbles as the car vibrates. Dont know what to try next so does anyone have any tips?
  6. My cars arse has always been too high, way higher then my n/a ever was and it was running kyb gas shock and some random springs, so i came to the conclusion they were 30mm springs. So ive now swapped them for some 40mm springs, same as i had on my n/a and the ride height has hardly dropped at all, its no where near what my n/a was. Now the only difference is the V has a panhard rod and the n/a didnt, when i had the car jacked up i was looking at the panhard rod and in my head i think it could make the car sit higher. So question is does it? if i loosen it, should it drop more?
  7. And im 100% certain, recently bought some import plates for the wife's car and measured mine to see what size they were
  8. Nope its 13 x 6.5

  10. Im still down for this.
  11. lol, havnt you just come off a years ban?
  12. What? I stuggle to understand that, seals? what seals?
  13. Well your standard ECU will fuel you upto a bit above .8 bar you can run this fine without upgrading anything. Id say the next decent hike would be upto 1 bar. You will need a aftermarket manifold as the standard one has a restriction in the 3rd runner which will cause excessive heat at higher boost and potentially end your engines life. Secondly a FMIC, go look at your standard one, it is tiny, you need something bigger to cool 1bar boost. Exhasut and decat will help unlock more power but I wouldnt say essential. You have a decent actuator and boost controller so no problems physically raising the boost. Lastly and id say most importantly is engine management. There is way too much available for me to go into detail but i sugest you have a search and read up on plug and play ecu's, emanage and all the other ones available.
  14. Ive ran mine at 1.2 bar for about 3 months now, no problems at all BUT ive recently dropped the boost to just over a bar and it runs and pulls miles better. This leads me to believe at 1.2 bar it was well out of its efficiency range and producing too much heat to make decent power. The engine used to sound dog rough too after hammering it at 1.2 bar but with the lower boost it seems perfectly fine. While im banging on about it at 1.2 bar it would stop pulling at 5.5k now ive lowered the boost it pulls till 6.3ish, i know this because i run a shift light set to 5.5k, and have noticed its on way longer now ive lowered the boost and still pulling, must alter it.
  15. Shane you cock tease get some proper pics up asap. Also did you find anything behind the dash? Like money? If so ill PM you my address so you can send it me back

  21. Ship hill 11:30 cool with me in regards to the route fuck the motorway too boring A628 and M60 is way im going, nice open country roads but not as deadly as snakes pass, also quicker. Junct. 35a M1 so 2 secs from ship.
  22. Yeah by creepy i ment boost creep, you car is set up to pass a lot of air through it i.e no filter so it can suck plenty of the stuff in, short exhaust exit allowing turbo to spool more again sucking more air in. Id say upgrade the actuator but i very much doubt it will solve your problem, porting the wastegate is a case of taking the turbo of the car a grinding the wastegate so its bigger meaning you can get rid of more excess gases allowing it to hold boost better and not creep.
  23. Lol its not a hole it a turbo......if thats running an un ported ct9 its going to be a very creepy setup esp with the side exit, stick efi pipe back on and it will be fine. Or port the wastegate on the "hole" (turbo).
  24. Did they do the test at the side of the road? Surly traffic passing by influenced it? Also who did the test? Did they do it at idle or get you to rev it? All sound suspicious to me.
