What do people meeting in the early hours normally do about sleep? Pull an all-nighter or get an early one in on Friday night so you have a few hours sleep? I was thinking if I go to sleep about 8:00 PM get up at 1:30 AM I will have had a steady 5 hours to see me through Saturday?

Since buying my house I have not been able to spend much time on the garden, we finally have everything pretty much as we want in the house now so with the first bit of nice weather this weekend just gone I though it was a good opportunity to get stuck in and get started on the garden. First thing we did was get all the dead leaves and crap out, we then removed a massive lavender bush and passed that on to a relative, the other half hated it last year as it seemed to be a massive attraction for bee's! I then set about the mowing, seeing how well i could get the lawn to stripe. To be honest I rather enjoyed it and can see me spending quite a bit of time growing bits and getting all the boarders and grass super neat. Here's a few pics after the work: Over the next few weeks I need to grow a patch of grass where the lavender bush was and find something to replace it. I am then going to power wash the patio area and re grout it all and also find a tray and grill for the bbq wall! Anyone else into their gardening want to show pics?

Silicone intercooler hose joiner cut and wrapped round the axel, tie wrapped on. Takes all the noise out of the contact.

Household Electrics Issue - Any Electricians On Here?
DavidAshton replied to DavidAshton's topic in Off Topic
Lol, I am not totally retarded, I shit myself just looking at it, I would never poke it or start messing with it without being sure of what's what. I like to know a bit about things and learn / do as much as I can around my house, plus I don't know any sparks so I would risk being ripped off due to me not knowing anything. Anyway I have been told I may just need to reset the RCD by pushing in the blue button, does that sound right, make sense? -
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction with this before I have to get elbow deep in Google. Basically the wife switched the room lights on earlier and boom bang flash all the downstairs lights go off. Man duty time! Into the garage I go to the electric box, I don't know the technical name yet? I see the downstairs light breaker is now in the off position, normally flick it back up and everything comes back on, brownie points earned and crack on........only today none of the lights came back on! This is my electric box: After flicking everything off and on a few times still no downstairs lights! I am guessing something has blown in here? Either way I thought I would take a look inside, can't be that difficult right? Looks like this........hmmmmmm? Quite a few warning stickers at this stage, me and my trusty screw driver decided not to poke any further without consulting someone who knows a bit about electrics? Is it a case of disconnecting the breaker for the downstairs lights and putting a new one back in of the same spec? Any input much appreciated, a beer at Japfest if anyone gives me a full breakdown of what to do?!?!

I think I posted this in another thread but I can't see it now? Why is the CJ Performance website hosted on the same server as this website? Surely in the interest of all Starlet owners UKSO can take it down? -
Pretty easy to find: http://whois.domaintools.com/cjperformance.co.uk

Ok, On a laptop now so I can explain better. I posted this: "Line 1 Line 3 Line 5" It then put it all onto line 1 so it looked like this I then pressed edit and in the edit screen it looked correct: Then I didn't press anything other than submit modified post and it then diplayed it properly: That make sense? It's defo only just started doing it over last few days.

2 mins i will get some screen grabs uploaded.

Whenever I reply to a topic from my Ipad and space the reply out over a few lines it pushes it all onto one line. Then if I press edit it spaces it out properly. Line 2 Line 4 Line 6 Didn't do it that time.Line 3 Line 5 Did that time though so its just when I reply Any ideas?

Boosting issues :( will FCD help? Help please
DavidAshton replied to geany's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Depends on your budget, easiest way to sort it is to put a restriction back in your system, everything is free flowing too much at the moment. You could put the cat back in and / or the stock efi intake pipe. This will restrict the amount of air the turbo can flow and thus stop hitting fuel cut. You could then fine tune high boost to a stable 0.8 bar and have a pretty nippy setup. This is your most cost effective option. -
I would take it not working as a sign. All they do is break engines!

Only just seen this dude, it's treating me spot on, not a single issue with it really, mad to think its coming up to 2 years since I made the trip to Bournemouth to pick it up! Use it daily, keep it clean and it is what it is. I don't think you will find another quite like this one, perfect all rounder in my opinion! I still keep the service records up to date that you started! I do actually have some new alloys for it waiting to go on, just waiting on the weather to pick up so check back in a month or so and I will update this thread.

No point reading anything into it without a proper temp gauge, stock gauge is vague at best!

I quit smoke a year and a half ago now. It's as simple as if you actually want to stop just stop.

Was going to say if you do it make sure you film it. I once left my oil cap off and drove 10 miles that made a right mess!
